Camping on the Edge!

We enjoyed our Creeks Edge, which started with a great beautiful tree lined drive only 25 minutes from the West end of the city. Rudy and Michelle were both kind hosts and explained the layout and workings of the facility well. It is a beauiful property! We camped at a very scenic tree sheltered spot at the elevated edge near the creek that Rudy showed us (Aha! Creeks Edge ;). Luckily so as we were all set up with our RTT, lunch tent and dinner cooked, when a strong thunderstorm came through and trees provided shelter from the wind and rain. My wife and I still had a great time, felt safe and got our camping fix which has been difficult being so busy. We always camp far out of the city but would stay at Creek's edge again to get the feeling, hopefully more than one night to relax even more and explore the site. Thanks very much Rudy and Michelle!

We had a great stay at R & M’s Hipcamp. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had lots of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The campsite felt private and well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. What really stood out was the hospitality. R & M were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and M in particular went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home during our stay. Their friendliness and genuine care made the experience especially welcoming and memorable. As an added bonus, their cats were very friendly and always a joy to have around the property! Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend R & M’s Hipcamp to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would happily stay here again.

We had an amazing camping experience at Creek Edge! The family running the place is incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best parts was having constant electricity throughout our stay, which made everything so much easier. We especially fell in love with their pets—spending time with their dogs and cats was such a joy! If you’re looking for a welcoming, animal-friendly, and peaceful spot near Spruce Grove, this is it. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! The area is very private and surrounded by beautiful fall colors, it honestly feels like your own little getaway in nature. The place was clean, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful weekend escape. The owners are wonderful people! They are responsive, and easy to communicate with. They made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we really appreciated how organized and welcoming they were. Our recent stay at this campsite was truly fantastic — the warm hospitality, beautiful grounds, and attention to cleanliness made it special from start to finish. Lovely people that run the place, giving a tour and letting you choose a spot to your liking. Super friendly pets that may come over to say hello. I had some new gear I needed to test out and this was the perfect spot as it was only 20 minutes away and you get that nice secluded feeling once you’re all set up. Highly recommended.

Very rustic, and private. Also very close to Edmonton, so was covenant for commuting. The only thing that needs improvement is the “ outhouse”/ playhouse thing they have. Otherwise AWESOME !!

We loved staying here, mostly quiet. Enjoyed visiting with Pumpkin, the orange cat. R was very helpful showing us around and helping we out with a bit of ice and a fan to cool me and my 2 dogs off. The only difficult part was using the makeshift bathroom with my disabilities. We will be happy to stay here again when we are travelling through.

Staying at this Hipcamp site was an absolute delight! The site is tucked away amidst towering spruce and pine trees, giving it a tranquil, mountain-like feel that’s hard to find elsewhere. The soft, mossy ground added to the charm, making our stay even more enjoyable. The host greeted us warmly upon arrival and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met during our stay. Little weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Creek view. Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The property boasts large trees and private tent areas. We loved the quiet and private location near the house. The hike on the property to a small creek was a beautiful way to spend the afternoon. R and M are wonderful hosts and we plan on staying at Creek View again in the future. We also enjoyed the visit of two cats during our stay. Thank you again for wonderful weekend!
