With amazing views of the Rocky Mountains, this west facing spot allows for some beautiful sunsets. Sightings of deer and moose are very typical along with many birds including hawks, eagles and even a chance to see some sand hill cranes.
Just up the hill is the Pine Ridge lookout which provide views towards Waterton Park and the legendary Chief Mountain.

It was so nice and peaceful, super quiet aside from the cows and the odd wild animals off in the distance. It was my first time camping ever and it was so much fun, the views were incredible and the property is beautiful and well kept. It was hot and sunny during the daytime and got pretty chilly overnight but with the blankets and sleeping bags we had it wasn’t cold at all. Thank you so much Scott! We would definitely come back to enjoy this spot again. :)
I loved camping here. So peaceful and absolutely GORGEOUS views. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for letting me stay on your stunning property!
We enjoyed our stay at Scott's land! The area is a mowed section next to pastures (currently with cows heading) looking out toward the mountains. Nothing fancy but quiet, private, and a short drive to Waterton! We would definitely stay again if in the area.
My family enjoyed camping on Scott’s land. The views are stunning and the wildlife abundant. There is plenty to space to spread out and enjoy the drama of the mountains.
Great views of the mountains, got to see a few deer, and close to Waterton! Was a great place to set up camp for a few nights. Level site and easy to find.
What a beautiful place to camp. We enjoyed the views and serene atmosphere. The deer came by to visit us which was a bonus. The host is so lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful land with us Scott and Wilma!
It's a beautiful piece of property with tremendous views of the mountains and surrounding area. And absolutely quiet-- no highway noises, no aircraft overhead. Just a few cattle heard after dark and some birds. Great sunrise.
Scott’s Hipcamp was our first experience, and it did not disappoint., It was easy to find, had an incredible view that included a brilliant night sky for star gazing!
Much appreciation for Scott, for recognizing and Sharing something that brings others so much joy!
Scott’s ranch was amazing to camp at. The cows were super friendly and the views of the mountains and hills were stunning. Scott has a picnic table and lots of space. Very private. Would definitely recommend!
So beautiful and private with a 5 minute drive to Waterton Lakes National Park and cell service! Perfect place! We saw northern lights while there in September!
It was a very disappointing experience to be at Moutain View considering the price. There was absolutely nothing but a patch of mowed grass and a dilapidated set of tables and benches. Don't understand that HipCamp would put its name to such a place.
Great spot with very easy access, beautiful view, very close to Waterton Park, quiet, nicely kept, perfect for our dirtbag car camp needs but also would be nice for longer set-ups or larger rigs. We absolutely will be back whenever in the area.
Amazing spot with a wonderful view. I was so nice to have a good dinner all by ourselves surrounded by the mountains after a good hike in waterton park!
Scott’s camping area was great. Certainly would recommend staying here. It is in close proximity to Waterton NP, but secluded enough from the crowds to spend a relaxing night with some beautiful views. We hope we make it back here some day
We booked this site for one night, as a stopover on our way to Banff, and I wish we had considered staying more nights. The scenery at this spot is beautiful. We did have a thunderstorm roll through while we were there, which was exciting, but other than that the spot was very peaceful. We enjoyed watching the cows in the adjacent field. Waterton Park is nearby and definitely worth a visit.
The views are stunning and it is a nice change from busy campgrounds. It feels private but not remote and I feel safe camping here. We have been back two years in a row with our camper. There is soft ground for a tent. It is easy to explore Waterton nearby.
