.Cabins sit at the edge of 80 acres of boreal parkland forest, wetland and riparian areas along the sturgeon river, neighbouring field and farmed land. Shared full kitchen/washroom with shower available, outdoor showers, walking trails, screened shared gazebo, hammocks and picnic tables. Camping is located on 5 acres of mowed grassland next to 10 acres of wetland area, or near the mature forest. ‘rustic’ sites Home to Willow, poplar and Spruce in a thriving ecosystem. Excellent Bird watching, abundant wildlife and access to the Sturgeon River (subject to drought conditions). Easily accessed, only minutes from a main highway. Nearby large lakes and rivers and hiking trails. Sun and shade, dark sky at night.

Campers welcome on our north east landing along the river. Very private open field space for vehicles and shady forested spots for tents. Wetland ecosystem and intact natural riparian areas give way to grassland and open field with bordering forested areas. Composting toilet (bucket) in nearby outhouse. Lac Ste Anne, Devils Lake, Pembina and Athabasca river nearby.

Located at the west shore of the river, over looking 10 acres of wetlands and riparian areas. Abundant wildlife including hawk, eagle, Raven, and high diversity of song birds in season. White tail deer, beaver, muskrats, mink and coyotes in the area.

This cabin is 400sqft, situated just inside a spruce and poplar forest. Has power, drinking and washing water is provided. It has an airtight fireplace (ready to use wood provided), small kitchen area with fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, kettle and all of the dishes/cutlery/cookware needed. Patio table and chairs plus outdoor fire ring available as well. This beautiful open concept cabin has a queen sized Murphy bed, large Murphy table, small writing desk, love seat and chair. A compost toilet (bucket system with wood chips) inside the cabin. Rental Includes full access to a shared kitchen/washroom located 100 steps away. The surrounding area includes a working vegetable farm (greenhouses), the owner’s home, caretaker suite and 3 other cabins. A screened in gazebo (with hammocks) is available for your use. Walking trails through our 60 acres of forest, or around the edge of our fields give you plenty of room to roam.

exactly what we needed… The birds and wildlife we’re exceptional peace and quiet an absolute great experience . just before we went to bed, we had a deer grazing 30 feet away from the 5th wheel . I would absolutely go there again!

We had an enjoyable weekend at the camping spot. We also liked how quiet the location was. It was a perfect getaway for our friends and us.
