Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Nomadic camping

Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Our 144 acres borders the North Saskatchewan River. We have beautiful peaceful trails and meadows throughout the property and along the river. Bring your camper, your dog and even your horse and walk or horseback ride our trails. Fish from the bank of the North Saskatchewan River (when in season) or relax by a campfire. Wake up early to see our amazing sunrises or stay up late to see the beautiful sunsets. The evening skies are filled with stars and sometimes you can see the Aurora Borealis. We have lots of wide open spaces to explore. Check out our website for more info. www.whisperingwillowsranch.online We raise the historic Scottish Highland Cows as well as the historic Brahma Chickens, and of course every ranch has a herd of horses. If you are wanting a to get a closer look at our livestock we offer guided tours, guided trail rides on horseback or a river cruise in our small motorized fishing boat for $50. We are very busy so please book in advance. We look forward to meeting you and enjoying all our acreage has to offer.

This is a flat grassy fenced area approximately 200 by 200 ft. If you bring your horse you can let them loose and camp with them in the fenced area. There is no hookups, no water or toilet. Guests will have to be self contained, take waste with you and leave no trace. Note there is an unused gas lease next to this site. See site photo's.
