Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Peaceful, majestic back to nature spots, just minutes from Elk Point, a half hour from St. Paul, Bonnyville & Vermilion & only two hours from Edmonton. Set among the shimmering aspen trees, rolling hills & meadows. The campsites are a short walk to the North Saskatchewan River, ideal for canoeing amp; fishing. Explore our private trails on foot or by horse, wander through the aspen trees, enjoying the breathtaking scenery, the experience is entirely your own. Unlike crowded campgrounds, this is a true private-use site. A place to get away from a busy life. We carefully maintain this space for those who appreciate a respectful connection to nature. We have 3 or more sites available for tent or RV/Trailer campers. You will be parking on land that requires levelling. We have lots of treed areas for private camping, horseback riding & hiking. We offer camper rentals that sleeps 4 people. Campfires are permitted, firewood is available for purchase. Pets are welcome. We have a fenced in area to keep your horses. Our Brahma chickens are "True" Free Range & eggs are available for purchase (see extras). If you are bringing pets, need a Fire Pit, Potable water or picnic table PLEASE state that when booking. They go fast! Please recognize you are visiting a Ranch not a campsite. We are sharing our piece of heaven with you & you are helping to support our animals. We raise Scottish Highland cattle, we have a small fold of coo's, a small flock of Brahma chickens (feathered feet), small herd of horses, 3 dogs & cats on the ranch. See our website www.whisperingwillowsranch.online for more info. We offer tours by donation to see our highlands including our adorable highland calves & twin foals. Please be aware we lease part of our land for other cattle so they may visit your site. We can guide you & your horse through the trails or take you out in our small motorized fishing boat for a small fee. Please book in advance. Whispering Willows Ranch has amazing sunrises & the most beautiful sunsets. Mornings we watch the highland calves & foals play in the fields. Evenings call for a campfire, surrounded by forest sounds & open starlit skies. Sometimes you see the Aurora Borealis. Your outdoor adventure starts today.

We have many level spots you can choose to set up your camp. The Riverside campsites recommend four-wheel drive to access. Suggest Tenting only road leans and can be steep. Can bring horse and high tie. See www.whisperingwillowsranch.online for more pictures of the Ranch. Approx. 3 min. walk to the river, great for fishing, guests need to be self contained, take waste with you and leave no trace. If you want a firepit, firewood, picnic table, guided trail ride or fishing boat ride you need to book it (see extras). Please let us know any other requests when booking. Pets are Welcome.

Happy Horses Campsite

This Site is used for Horse Campers, it has a flat grassy fenced area approximately 200 by 200 ft. that will hold your horses. It is situated beside a little pond. Camp inside the fenced area or set up camp outside the fence the choice is yours. Approx. 10 min. walk to the river, guests need to be self contained, take waste with you & leave no trace. If you don't have a camper you can rent ours sleeps 4 people has shower & toilet. If you want a firepit, firewood, picnic table, guided trail ride or fishing boat ride you need to book it (see extras). There is an extra fee if you want to bring friends with horses and have them camp beside you. Please let us know your requests when booking. Note there is an unused gas lease next to this site that helps pay for the animals.
