Danny’s Croft -The 80 Acre Woods boasts a variety of landforms that include a wetland, woodland, a large beaver pond, rolling hills, and open fields. Our home includes two goats, eight sheep, about 50 laying hens, 7 ducks, and a red footed African Tortoise. Campers are invited to feed the animals and collect organic eggs, with us, for breakfast.
Bring your own tents, trailers, or RVs. If you're bringing an RV/trailer, the site requires levelling and can accommodate vehicles up to 49ft in length.
We have moose and deer visiting the meadow regularly and many birds call our land home.
This property is a nature lovers paradise and only 30 mins South East of Edmonton and Sherwood Park. Hastings Lake borders our land and water access for water sports is close. Elk Island Park is 26 km away.
Pets are welcome.

Beautiful place, cute goats and welcoming owners. We were notified that the place was not ready for us yet, as we booked a place a bit too late. Making the host ( Rachel and her husband) worried that it will not be up to our standard. Matter of fact, it was beyond our expectations regardless. They provided us with a nice grill, water and a clean table, they even wanted to give us some fresh eggs! Hope to come visit soon again, as we were not able to thank you in person. Thank you very much!

Magical. It’s the only word to describe what Adam has created at Sky Hound Ranch. He’s developed a welcoming space full of intention, purpose and gratitude. It’s calming and exciting. Highly recommend staying here and really living and partaking in all they have to offer at the ranch. Their knowledge is immense. We will definitely be back!

Adrian met us as we pulled in and told us we were at the right spot. He showed us where we could park and told us the grassy area was ours to use. He offered us whatever we needed to make our stay pleasant. Later in the evening he and his son had to move the ducks and goose to the barn. They checked with us to make sure we were ok with that. Afterwards we had a great visit with both of them. The place was very relaxing. Definitely a great host and a great place to stay.

Was a very nice place. Meeting Adam and learning about ranch was a wonderful experience. Very hospitable and so relaxing. The lake was a short drive away. It was really hot so we were able to have a water gun fight around the campsite. It’s a wonderful place and would go again.

We had an amazing stay at this campsite just minutes from Sylvan Lake. Being on a farm made it such a unique and memorable experience, and the setting was peaceful yet close to everything. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming, speaking French, English, and even some Spanish, which added to the charm. Booking through Hipcamp was such a smooth and amazing experience. We’d love to come back again and would highly recommend this spot to friends and family!

Le fait que ce soit sur une ferme a rendu l’expérience unique et mémorable, avec un cadre paisible tout en étant proche de tout. Les hôtes étaient formidables et très accueillants, parlant français, anglais et même un peu d’espagnol, ce qui a ajouté au charme. Réserver via Hipcamp a été une expérience simple et agréable. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay on Adrian’s land. Adrian and his family made us feel very welcome. We loved seeing them round up the ducks and geese each evening, and even got to hold some recently hatched baby ducks. We purchased fresh chicken eggs which were delicious and dry firewood that allowed us to have a wonderful fire one evening. Great communication from host, easy parking with private space and conveniently located close to Jasper National Park. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time at Adam’s property. It is a very scenic spot, surrounded by a meadow. It is a working cattle ranch, and Adam gave us tour of his ethical cattle ranching operation. My kids loved it. You are surrounded by nature, trees and horses which was lovely to wake up to. There is the world’s friendliest barn cat who made herself at home with us, too. It is rustic as described in the listing with a fair amount of bugs in the heat of the summer. We had a screen tent for cooking and eating which made it fine. There is a big firepit for roasting hot dogs and s’mores which we did every night. It’s so remote that you can see all the stars at night. Adam really was an amazing host, running an extra power cord to our tent and helping when I ran out of propane. It was a pleasure to stay on his ranch and I would definitely recommend it!
