Description

Markleeville Campground sits among Jeffrey pines and cottonwood trees near Millberry Creek. The campground is just outside the little town of Markleeville, California. Stop by the general store for some basic necessities and groceries. The town is typically very quiet (with a population of only 210!), with the exception of a large cycling event every summer. Markleevile hosts the annual “Death Ride,” in which thousands of cyclists ride 129 miles through the California Alps.
