Such a good spot, close to town, right on a beautiful part of the river, birbs everywhere, perfect full moon spot. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Will be back again for sure! Ben is a legend and I’m in love with his doggos

Great stay in upper terrace , still only short walk down the beautiful clear river plenty of space from other campers even on Easter weekend !

The Upper Terrace
Lovely spot with river access. Very safe for kids. Ben’s a great host nothing is ever a drama. Their is a dump point about 1/2 kilometre down the road which was very handy also.

I love the area, super close to town. Fuller's fruit market is always opened with all the essentials. Water is beautiful and clean, good fishing and a wonderful host!

We stayed over the busy Easter period and although it was busy, everyone had space. The toilets were surprisingly good especially with the number of people. The river is magic, such a beautiful spot.

The location is beautiful and definitely the highlight. However, for $100 a night, I was expecting a more thoughtful, boutique-style experience. Instead, it felt closer to a crowded campground, with one drop toilet shared between more than 50 campers.
There were also some issues with consideration for guests. At one point, Ben was mowing the lawn right next to our tent in the middle of the day while our baby was sleeping, which felt quite disruptive.
Additionally, fireplaces were advertised, but when we arrived, none were available as they had all been taken by other campers. This was disappointing, especially as it was something we had been looking forward to.
Overall, a lovely setting, but the experience didn’t quite match the price or expectations.

Beautiful location by the river. A lot of bird life and great swimming. Very close to town, we walked which took 30 minutes. Theres a pit toilet, firewood available. We enjoyed the location and would book again.

The camp is in a great location and Ben was very responsive and helpful. We were lucky that it wasnt very busy so we had plenty of room and a nice spot mowed especially for us.. the only view of the river. River access is very limited and we had to go uncomfortably close to another camp to get to the river. Also there are only 2 kayaks which is not great for shared camping.. though we really enjoyed using them in the crystal clear river.

Ben has an amazing place , have already told my oldies to stay a few nights in their caravan .
Swim across the river to the Old butter factory is fairly easy even for the 4 legged friends .
We stayed on the reserve part which is about 80m walk to the river and a lot more shade up there too as there isn’t shade down on the river view camp area so can get abit hot over the Australia Day weekend .
All in all an awesome place to stay

This spot is beautiful! We stayed in our caravan on the Upper Terrace as we passed through Bellingen and it was so peaceful and quiet.
Ben was great in checking in on us and giving instructions on where to camp and information about the property.
The kids had a blast swimming in the river and seeing the cows across the river bank!
Would stay here again!

Great location close to Bellingen and Dorrigo. Plenty of open space for campers and caravaners and plenty of fire pits to light fires. Access to river swimming was quite difficult with overgrown fauna and grass was quite long making it quite uncomfortable to walk around our caravan. With a little maintenance this camp would be a ten out of ten.

Overall we loved the property and location was fantastic. Sadly, the toilets let it down immensely - they were poorly spread, not enough of them, and all in all, a very unpleasant experience. We're no stranger to long drops etc but these were gross + felt very unhygienic, and toilet paper wasn't always available. Also the one closest to us you couldn't lock / fully shut from the inside. The price reflects location and access to river, but toilets should be improved to match.

Only one or two good spots, was was busy when we went so river access is really hard. Mostly shallow spots. Also not allowed to crab as told by owner even though it’s a public river.

The Terrace creekside
Beautiful location – right in front of the Belligen River. Beautiful surrounds amongst the mountains Greenfields and swimming and fishing in the river daily. I will totally recommend this place. Not to mention that.Belligen is probably the most beautiful village in Australia

A little chaotic with arrangements on the day but once there the site is idyllic. We kayaked and swam in the lovely warm slow river. A drive into Bellingen to be realistic but well worth it. We would think a young family or indeed a scout/guide group would love the place provided they had adequate toilet facilities

If I could live here camping all summer I would! Most magical place Bellingen and Ben’s campsite with direct river access was the cherry on top.
Ben was very accommodating with fast communication with every question we had.
Expect us back again and again!
