in Barkley Lake, KentuckyThis is our family's favorite local campground. Ive been camping here since I was a kid and its still the same! The beach is sandy and clean. Spots are all very clean. Bathhouse is clean and within close walking distance to majority of the sites. Some sites are on an incline but our county is very hilly and it is expected near the lakes area. The tent sites are right next to the beach but you have to walk through rv sites to get to them so its a little awkward.
