The Beaver's Bend State Park is within minutes, as it the Broken Bow Lake. We have owned our property for 12 years, and decided to buy in Hochatown because we had been camping in this area for over 28 years. This area brings us joy, love, peace, tranquility, and seclusion. We love the nature, the water, animals, and sunshine. We even love the rain! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our little piece of Heaven on Earth. We are also close to all of the Hochatown events, eateries, wineries, & breweries. You can go golfing, swimming, get lost in a "secret room" or get a massage, within a 5 minute drive of our location. Grab your pillow, towels, swimsuits, toiletries and come on to Broken Bow Lake (2 miles) or Beaver's Bend State Park (5 miles) and enjoy the great outdoors, in style!

Beaver’s Pond is situated in the sweetest town of Texas Honey Grove.There is a picnic table a fire pit and a bbq grill in front of the cabin & there is a gas stove, mini fridge and a water heater. There is not city water or electricity, but If you bring a power station or generator, you will have electricity. There is a water well in the cabin with a water pump. There is a wood burning stove inside. The bathroom is outside on the left side of the cabin with toilet sink and shower. There are two kayaks and a paddle board for you to use. Beware of beaver holes when walking outside of the cabin and please don’t cross the pond, it’s my neighbors property. Bring your fishing gear! Catch and release fishing 🎣allowed.

Our intimate campground features spacious pull-through sites starting at 40x60 feet, complete with full hookups, eliminating the hassle of waste disposal upon departure. The pavilion provides breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It features an open area measuring 30x30 feet, complete with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The surrounding space affords a private setting. A great place for events including weddings, family reunions and more intimate gatherings. The tiny cabin is rustic but functional. Although there is no kitchen, it has a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The shower is small and can only be used for quick showers. However, the environment and views make the spot great for relaxing and enjoying nature.

I loved my time spent on Drue’s property! Not only was he extremely helpful, but his property is very well cared for! They also gave me the most delicious bright orange eggs!!! Anytime I noticed I forgot something or had a question, I got a message with a solution right away. There is enough land that you can really be comfortable here and have a nice secluded peaceful time. Many oaks on the property and even oak firewood!! There was even a kindling pile ready to go when I arrived— there are a lot of small details like that. It’s a real treat and a great weekend if you like fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, or just hanging out! Definitely recommend it 😇 !!

We loved our stay, it was so fun! Well stocked cabin, we loved staying warm with the wood stove. We’re so glad there was plenty of fire wood ready for us to use. Our dogs loved running around the cabin. We caught bass and blue gill in the pond. I think as long as you’re prepared for an off grid stay, you’ll have a great time!

It’s our first time to go camping w my son and discovered this serene and lovely cabin. Just fire up the generator and everything will light up for you and water overflows! I love the bed and the blankets, the books (esp ‘The Living on the Rugged edge’ by Charles Swindoll); small items like the mobile phone reset pin is there! Twas a really good rest w nature plus fishing time too. This is my dream cabin in the future. Well, overall we would like to recommend this for a good bonding time w your son. In fact, we are extending our stay for few more days. Thanks Sir Serapio, our host, for the kind help and excellent communication skills. He is always available everytime I have a question. Thanks again!

The property was absolutely amazing! Very clean, few bugs which we were thankful for, and the view of the sunset was absolutely breathtaking! The bath house is a great addition; very roomy and water as hot as you'd like! The inside of the cabin had a very rustic charm to it which I loved! The owner stopped by amd was the nicest lady. We will definitely be returning to this property.

This place is awesome! First the host was great. Answered any questions i had and was very quick to communicate. The location is beautiful and peaceful right on the banks of the river with easy access to the water w a gravel bar and rock outcroppings. You have plenty of privacy and seclusion but it is only 5 min to town so very convenient too. They had fishing poles to use and i caught a fish on my 2nd cast. The area was all mowed around camp and very clean. There was a canoe and kayaks to use, a bbq grill to cook on, a fire pit with a fire already setup and plenty of firewood provided. The camper is older but perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to set up tents too. Drue and his family obviously put a lot of effort into setting this up and making sure i had everything i could need. I’ll definitely be back.

The cabin was well stocked and had almost everything we needed. Serapio was very communicative and answered all questions. I recommend stopping by Bonham state park if you would like to swim in a lake.

Loved the cabin and the location, the host was really appreciative and kind. We checked in late but the host didn't mind it at all. The night sight was also beautiful. The cabin was exactly as advertised and everything was clean. Would definitely recommend this everyone.

This place was absolutely beautiful! When we first turned onto the property, the views were breathtaking—the mountains, the water, and the lush greenery all around. We stayed in the tiny cabin, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is incredibly cozy and charming on the inside. It had a very comfy bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a full bathroom. If you’re looking for a sweet little cabin getaway where you can be surrounded by nature but still have the comfort of a roof over your head, this is perfect! It’s the perfect opportunity to really unplug and enjoy some quality time with your partner or family. Plus we saw a deer, some rabbits, an eagle and lots of cute birds. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We absolutely loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here!
