'Killarney Nymboida River' is a family run working cattle farm on the banks of the pristine Nymboida River, located 47km Southwest of Grafton. Our accommodation would perfectly suit a few couples, 2 families or a group of up to 10 people. Your booking will include both The Cottage and The Shed. 'The Cottage' is open plan with loft style accommodation with 2 x queen beds, 2 x KS and 2 x floor mattresses. It has a lounge room area with TV, small kitchenette and bathroom. All linen is provided. 'The Shed' is also open style accommodation with 3 x double beds and 1 x KS. It also has a bathroom with laundry, Kitchenette, the kids pool table and a ping pong table. All bed linen for this area is stored in a tub in the shed and beds can be made up by guests as needed. Just bring towels! Making memories is what we are about whether that be fishing, swimming, kayaking, watching the races in the bar over a game of pool or just sitting by the fire with your favorite tunes to relax and unwind. Some guests may be lucky enough spot a platypus or even witness the mustering team in action from a distance. For those adventure lovers out there, who enjoy canoeing or kayaking, you may want to take advantage of being on section one of 'The Longest Whitewater Trail in Australia'. If you enjoy 4WD adventures a day trip to The Junction at the Nymboi-Binderay National Park is well worth the drive. The closest town to get supplies is Coutts crossing, approx 22km drive. There is a BP service station with a general store and post office inside. Here you can also grab a coffee and takeaway food. Coutts Crossing also has a Tavern which does lunch and dinner most days and locally run raffles most Friday nights. All fishing is catch and release - Please refer to the 'Rules' regarding fishing.

Alastair and I have shared the property for more than 30 years and consider ourselves custodians of this precious place. All proceeds from Airbnb and Hipcamp are invested in the continuing conservation of Black Mountain. IMPORTANT: `Black Mountain’ Shack and camp sites are only accessible by 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles.

I spent 8 nights staying at Jess’s cabin and I was reluctant to leave. It’s got everything you need and is exceptionally comfortable - good mattress, kitchen, fireplace and a balcony to chill out on. There are a few walks you can do around the property including exploring Rocky River. The spot is private and has kangaroos and cows passing by…though Jess isn’t too far away if required. I’d highly recommend staying.

The Bunkhouse: It’s spacious and cleanThe kids absolutely loved the indoor hammock—it was the favorite "chill spot" after a long day of exploring. The Horse Experience: This was the highlight of our trip. The horses are beautiful and well-cared for. Our kids had the best time getting up close to them at the fence and going on a guided ride. Brushless Cabin was wonderful, and what a treat to stay here without having to bring all the camping gear. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and there was no one else in sight. The kids enjoyed watching the cows and peacocks when they came to visit, exploring the property and swimming and tubing in the river across the road. Absolutely gorgeous.

What a hidden gem of a place. We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin, from the moment we arrived we enjoyed every second. It’s such a private, peaceful spot and the scenery and river were simply magnificent. Both kids and adults had a blast spending the whole day in the river. For off-grid campers we were spoiled and appreciated the hot shower, flushing toilet and water for washing up. Jess was lovely and took the time to come and meet us, bringing some lucerne for the cows. We were also lucky enough to have a resident peacock visit who clearly loved his watermelon treat. So sad to leave and we can’t wait to return.

Really great cabin in an even better location! My partner and I loved our stay in the cabin. There was plenty of space inside with everything you need and we felt very secluded with lots of privacy. There was cows roaming around which you could feed and a beautiful peacock walking about. The property has plenty lots to offer and explore with a walking trail we found and an unbelievable creek which was great for a swim and to explore. Jess was super helpful and friendly too and even checked in on us when a storm rolled through. Would highly recommend!

I loved staying in the bunkhouse at The Ranch on Clarence. It's an amazing property with plenty of animals, breathtaking views, and plenty of places to walk on the property. Add to it that you are really close to Yates Crossings where you can 4wd, go for a swim, or even just go for a nice walk around. I would very highly recommend staying here.
