Llandillo is a picturesque 700 acre property located 11 kms from Emmaville, and 55kms from Glen Innes in the northern New England region. It has 2kms of Severn river access along its southern boundary, which offers great fishing and wildlife watching opportunities. We run a small sheep farming enterprise on the northern more open half of the property, and the southern part running down to the river is natural bushland. Activities include fishing, bushwalking, mountain biking, fossicking, bird watching or getting to know some of our much adored farm animals. We offer accommodation in our a two-bedroom cabin. Our homely cabin offers a tranquil place to stay and enjoy the sounds of birds singing in the trees. Our cabin includes one double bed, two single beds and two double lounges that turn into sofa beds. We have a friendly old Wallaroo who lives around the cabin. Many other wallaby’s and kangaroos can be seen from the windows. It is a great place to relax reading a good book, catch up on well deserved rest or use as a base for outdoor activities. The cabin also has a large firepit out the back where our guests are welcome to have a campfire or cook a meal over the coals. Firewood will be supplied. There is a picnic area with a large open firepit and toilet just meters from the waters edge. Many unique animals have been seen at the river, including spotted Quolls, Platypus, fireflies, Deer, Goats, Kangaroos, wallabies and many species of birds. Guests are able to walk the entire 2km of river fishing or just enjoying the free flowing water. Nine times out of ten Murray Cod are caught along any part of the river on our fishing adventures. Rocky River Play Station is a working bush property on the banks of the Timbarra River, about 20 km / 30 minutes south of Drake Village — an old gold-mining community tucked in the back of NSW Northern Rivers. This is a place for slowing down, sitting on grass, swimming in rivers, watching light change across the hills, and resting amongst the wildlife and our resident cows. I spent 8 nights staying at Jess’s cabin and I was reluctant to leave. It’s got everything you need and is exceptionally comfortable - good mattress, kitchen, fireplace and a balcony to chill out on. There are a few walks you can do around the property including exploring Rocky River. The spot is private and has kangaroos and cows passing by…though Jess isn’t too far away if required. I’d highly recommend staying.

The Bunkhouse: It’s spacious and cleanThe kids absolutely loved the indoor hammock—it was the favorite "chill spot" after a long day of exploring. The Horse Experience: This was the highlight of our trip. The horses are beautiful and well-cared for. Our kids had the best time getting up close to them at the fence and going on a guided ride. Brushless Cabin was wonderful, and what a treat to stay here without having to bring all the camping gear. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and there was no one else in sight. The kids enjoyed watching the cows and peacocks when they came to visit, exploring the property and swimming and tubing in the river across the road. Absolutely gorgeous.

What a hidden gem of a place. We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin, from the moment we arrived we enjoyed every second. It’s such a private, peaceful spot and the scenery and river were simply magnificent. Both kids and adults had a blast spending the whole day in the river. For off-grid campers we were spoiled and appreciated the hot shower, flushing toilet and water for washing up. Jess was lovely and took the time to come and meet us, bringing some lucerne for the cows. We were also lucky enough to have a resident peacock visit who clearly loved his watermelon treat. So sad to leave and we can’t wait to return.

Really great cabin in an even better location! My partner and I loved our stay in the cabin. There was plenty of space inside with everything you need and we felt very secluded with lots of privacy. There was cows roaming around which you could feed and a beautiful peacock walking about. The property has plenty lots to offer and explore with a walking trail we found and an unbelievable creek which was great for a swim and to explore. Jess was super helpful and friendly too and even checked in on us when a storm rolled through. Would highly recommend!

It is so quiet and picturesque, the view is amazing. Jess has kept it simple yet everything you need is there. We went gold fossicking down the road for a bit of fun. There is a local shop nearby with the bare necessities at a reasonable price. Loved having a fire place .

I loved staying in the bunkhouse at The Ranch on Clarence. It's an amazing property with plenty of animals, breathtaking views, and plenty of places to walk on the property. Add to it that you are really close to Yates Crossings where you can 4wd, go for a swim, or even just go for a nice walk around. I would very highly recommend staying here.
