Our stunning 2000 acre working Cattle property offers this beautiful private camping retreat right on the bank of the Severn River in the Ashford area. Our camping sites are located far enough from each other so that we can offer complete privacy during your stay where you will have no other campers around you for literally kilometers. Our part of the Severn River offers many large fishing holes with excellent fishing for Murray Cod, Yellow Belly and Catfish, we request that you only catch and release please. The river is also great for kayaking, swimming and boating and has very large areas of small rapids along river. Relax around the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy our beautiful sunsets and star gazing, in the mornings you can enjoy the sounds of the beautiful bird song. The area is abundant with wildlife, including native birds, platypus and koalas. We are also located only 10kms from Pindari Dam which is another great spot for all water based activities. We are 10kms from Pindari Adventure Park which is a great spot to take kids. We are 25kms from Macintyre Falls and the Kwiambal National Parks which has a number of beautiful walks you can enjoy. Ben Falls, Goat Rock, Reedy Creek Winery and Zappers Winery are all close by as well. Campers must stay within the designated camping area whilst on the property. We have provided a fire pit for your enjoyment and can arrange firewood to be available upon request. Campers must be fully self sufficient and take all waste with them on departure.

Site 1 - Severn River Camping 🏕
Beautiful spot, very lucky to visit
We love this spot, and had an incredible experience. We had initially asked for the end camp and it was a little confusing when we were offered to pick where we like, however all sites were taken except one in shallow waters where we couldn't swim or launch the boat. Overall Susannah is absolutely lovely, and we appreciate her sharing her property. We're very grateful.

Easter camping
The site was absolutely stunning! Completely private. Great spot alongside the Severne river. Plenty of space for kayaking and fishing and other activities. Enjoyed every second. We will be back!

Sandstone Severn River Camping
Severn serenity
Beautiful country side camping along the river. Amazing views at the Sandstone ground with 2 camp-fire pits. More than enough space for quite a few people and freshly mowed too. Definitely a spot worth coming back to. Nature was certainly all around.

Site 13 - Severn River Camping 🏕
Beautiful location by the river with many great camp spots. I caught a couple of nice cod and a good yellowbelly. Susannah was a great host. So friendly and helpful and went out of her way to show me a suitable campsite. Highly recommend staying here as I have camped in a lot of locations through Hipcamp and this is definitely of the better one's

We loved Susannahs camp it’s was private and peaceful and exactly like the pictures on Hipcamp. If you love off grid camping and enjoy peace and quiet with an abundant of bird life sitting on your own peace of paradise then you will love this place. Susannah is a wonderful host and we can’t wait to go back.
