Our family has been here farming since 1909 with 6 generations. We are very lucky to live where we are and we are happy to share it with people who also appreciate it.We have 12 km of Wakool River frontage to offer with beautiful peaceful campsites, great fishing, bird watching and bush walks.We have a number of unpowered private camp sites along the river depending on your requirements and interests. All campers must have their own amenities and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Sorry, no pets.

Welcome to Murraywood, a peaceful river bend all to yourself, where you can relax among the river gums as you watch the sunset over the Mighty Murray.
We offer only one site so you will have complete privacy and plenty of space.
Tooleybuc is the nearest town and is 11kms away, it has a boat ramp so you can make the most of your water activities on the Murray. It also has a general store and IGA for your shopping needs.
Relax around your campfire in the evenings and enjoy some amazing star gazing. Please ensure there are no fire restrictions in place before starting a fire.
Campers must be self sufficient and take all their rubbish and provide their own camping toilet. Pets are welcome.
Please be aware that there is no boat ramp or launching facilities at the campsite.
If using Sat Nav to locate the camp pls note that this site is in NSW. Cross the river at Tooleybuc if coming from Vic or remain on the NSW side if coming from the north.

On a very hot day the hosts managed to find me a shaded location. Overall camp is well maintained and was lovely and peaceful overnight. Quirky tree decor, mosaics and outdoor furniture definitely added some interest.

Amazing. Stayed at the sandbank location very scenic as well as great for kids with some shallow water. Very private as well didn’t see any other campers until leaving the property. John is a great host takes you into the campsite. No telstra at location so pre-set your gps!

Fantastic week away at this beautiful camping spot on the Murray. Very peaceful and relaxing. Dogs had a ball helping Dad fish, playing footy and frisbee and chilling out by the fire at night. Darren also caught some fish.
Directions from Peter were easy to find the location and camping site.
Will be back again some time.

O my goodness, this place is magic and exactly what a Hipcamp should be. John and Marita is super friendly and they have a beautiful property. The camp spot which is next to the river is one of the best I've experienced.
