The camp sites are located on the eastern boundary, 2.5km from the mungo national park visitors centre, and 1km from Mungo lodge.

Mungo national park offers walking trails from .5km-10km, 70km drive tour and guided tours on the walls of China sandhills.

Absolutely loved it great place to stay, we stayed in Belah camp and what a gem we camped on the top site and got such amazing views of mungo NP. The top hut camping entrance and camp was easy to find and well signed.
The camps are large, clean and tidy very well set out. Amazing spot to see sunrise and sunset. Out in the open so stargazing was great.

Our group of 3 camper trailers had a great stay there We went on the National Park tour of the China wall and the pinnacles which was wonderful We had a great campfire one night We were grateful to our host Tom and the flushing toilet was a plus !

We absolutely loved our stay at Top Hut Station (WILGA)! 🌌 The huge private space gave us all the peace and quiet we were hoping for, and the night sky was full of stars—a truly magical experience.
The location is beautiful and serene, and best of all, it’s literally on the doorstep of Lake Mungo National Park with very easy access. Perfect for anyone wanting to explore the area without the hassle of long drives.
We’re definitely coming back 100%—this place is a hidden gem and a fantastic base for discovering the wonders of the region.

Absolutely loved the privacy and spaciousness of Tom's little slice of heaven.
There was plenty of firewood to be gathered and a fire pit supplied.
The area had been well respected and looked after.
A beautiful secluded spot with ample room. We absolutely adored our stay here and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tom

We loved our stay at Belah! Tim was a great host and happily accommodated our last minute change of plans.
The camp-site is big and flat with a huge fire pit in the middle. A short walk up the adjacent rise offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over Lake Mungo.
We didn't stay long enough in the area, when we come back, we will stay at Belah.

Great location close to Mungo Lodge but very private - each booked camp spot at Top Hut is private and you have the space to yourself. Thomas dropped over to make sure we had everything we needed. Big fire pit and room for a group if thats how your travelling.

A simple private set up, huge open skies, lots of birds and the odd goat. Staying here was lovely and Tom was very friendly. Literally on the doorstep of Lake Mungo National Park with very easy access. Highly recommended.

Lovely area, we did have loud neighbours hooning on there dirt bikes which broke the serenity but besides that a great site. Happy to pay the extra money for a more secluded site compared to across the road. Just watch the feral cat and midnight goat visits. The fire pits where a great addition too

We loved our stop at the Pines, it was very private and peaceful. The area was large enough to park several vans. Tom called by to check we were OK. It was lovely to have a chat and understand about his farm. Mungo National Park is a must do.

Great place to explore
What a wonderful place gull of history we were unable to do the 70km self drive loop as it was closed to roads being fixed but will be back to do it again one day.

Unfortunately the majority of the track around the park was closed which was quite frustrating
Main info centre had displays which were broken
Having to pay the park entry fee in cash is archaic….i suspect most visitors don’t pay

Mungo is quite amazing. One thing you MUST book in advance for the sunset tour with Mungo Lodge as this is the most spectacular time to see the wall. It is a little disappointing that the NP access is from 2 spots and quite limited - we assumed wrongly that we would be able to wander through the site but this is only available with a tour guide

Pretty awesome. Some of the park is only accessible by booking a tour. Also, most of the self drive road is closed at the moment due to road damage, but the main attractions are open.
