This is our listing for guests that prefer a roof over your their head! We have a self contained cottage & two family style units & lovely riverside campsites with bathroom access.
Bindara Station is an operational farm with meat goats and irrigated orchard. With emphasis on eco technology the property is completely off grid.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy walks along the river or just sit back and gain a taste of the real outback, as the birds and local animals go about their normal day.
Google maps is known to be wrong. We are on the Old Pooncarie Road south of Kinchega National Park and east of Tandou Lake and on the Darling River. Directions will be emailed when your booking is confirmed or call ahead for clarification.

We are happy to have you stay with us on your journey to Broken Hill or to and from eastern Australia.
If you like the quiet of the Australian Bush and want to camp off the main highway come and stay with us to break up your journey out west.
We have a vast knowledge of the Broken Hill area having always lived in Broken Hill.
We have recently renovated our amenities block which has 8 showers and 8 toilets consisting of a Men and Ladies block.

We loved our stay at Bindara on the Darling.
Easy access for our caravan.
Camp sites are a great size with plenty of space to spread out.
Although we were fully self sufficient, having the ensuite was absolutely wonderful.
Bindara is rich in history, antique artifacts on the property all have their own stories.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hazelvale! Plenty of camping spaces, large spaces for each camper, very welcoming and helpful hosts and well kept and maintained shower and toilets!! Beautiful fairy lights all around the camping ground boundaries and tree barriers in the centre of the campground add a nice cozy touch as the night falls! A great option for campers wanting to stop over after a long day of driving! We will be back, thank you! 😃

Bindara Station is a remote location on the Darling River and the journey of getting there is part of the experience. It is a beautiful location on the river with good facilities for camping and staying for a short while with great hosts who make you very welcome. This was an our second time there and Barb and John did not disappoint with their hospitality. They enjoy talking about the location and history of the station and area - which is amazing. A place to unwind and relax in beautiful surroundings.

Great place to unwind on the river!!! Great hosts! Would recommend and definitely return in the future! Good river frontage and quiet, make sure you've got everything with ya, she's a long drive from a shop! The toilets and showers were a blessing!!!

The station was busy with campers enroute to Mundi Mundi Bash, but the welcome was friendly and the owners helpful. The camp site was very quiet. I bought firewood, however the weather changed and unfortunately a fire was not possible. Excellent bathroom facilities meant a lovely hot shower could be enjoyed.
