Top Hut station is a 50000 acre property that produces lamb, wool and goats in the Willandra lakes world heritage area. The camp sites are located on the eastern boundary, 2.5km from the mungo national park visitors centre, and 1km from Mungo lodge. The camp sites offer private locations amongst Pine, Belah, mallee and rose wood trees, some with stunning views of lake mungo and the walls of China. Mungo national park offers walking trails from .5km-10km, 70km drive tour and guided tours on the walls of China sandhills. Mungo lodge offers 7 day a week bar and bistro, guided mungo national park tours and scenic fights.

WILGA is a beautiful spot amongst the wilga, cabbage bush and fallen oak trees. To the south of the campsite there is a rise which offers nice views of the surrounding bush land and if you find the right spot you can get a glimpse of mungo's walls of China in the distance. This site is a large 200m circle with ample room for large caravan's and motorhomes around the outside, in the centre of the circle is a fireplace to keep everyone warm as you take in the beautiful big night sky.

BELAH is a beautiful large site surrounded by patches of Belah oak, cabbage bush and the odd pine tree. To the south of the campsite there is a hill which offers beautiful views of both sun rise, sun set and a 180-degree view of lake mungo with the walls of China in the distance. This site is a large 200m circle with ample room for large caravan's and motorhomes around the outside, in the centre of the circle is a fireplace to keep everyone warm as you take in the beautiful big night sky.

this beautiful site is the closest to the arumpo road access, it is situated on a sandy red rise amongst the Murry pine trees with an open area to the west to camp, most suited to tents, camper trailers or a couple of caravans. It features nice area to set up camp around the fireplace and enjoy the stunning night sky.

Our group of 3 camper trailers had a great stay there We went on the National Park tour of the China wall and the pinnacles which was wonderful We had a great campfire one night We were grateful to our host Tom and the flushing toilet was a plus !

We absolutely loved our stay at Top Hut Station (WILGA)! 🌌 The huge private space gave us all the peace and quiet we were hoping for, and the night sky was full of stars—a truly magical experience. The location is beautiful and serene, and best of all, it’s literally on the doorstep of Lake Mungo National Park with very easy access. Perfect for anyone wanting to explore the area without the hassle of long drives. We’re definitely coming back 100%—this place is a hidden gem and a fantastic base for discovering the wonders of the region.

Great spot, huge site, clean port-a-loo. Tom was very welcoming. Definitely book again. Fantastic location close to the entrance of Mungo Nat Park.

Wilga is wonderful open site where you can enjoy the huge fire pit, stary nights and amazing sunsets and rises. Couldn’t recommend Tom and his station highly enough.

Great location close to Mungo Lodge but very private - each booked camp spot at Top Hut is private and you have the space to yourself. Thomas dropped over to make sure we had everything we needed. Big fire pit and room for a group if thats how your travelling.

We loved our stay at Belah! Tim was a great host and happily accommodated our last minute change of plans. The camp-site is big and flat with a huge fire pit in the middle. A short walk up the adjacent rise offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over Lake Mungo. We didn't stay long enough in the area, when we come back, we will stay at Belah. Thanks Tom.

Beautiful, quiet and secluded

Absolutely loved the privacy and spaciousness of Tom's little slice of heaven. There was plenty of firewood to be gathered and a fire pit supplied. The area had been well respected and looked after. A beautiful secluded spot with ample room. We absolutely adored our stay here and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tom

A simple private set up, huge open skies, lots of birds and the odd goat. Staying here was lovely and Tom was very friendly. Literally on the doorstep of Lake Mungo National Park with very easy access. Highly recommended.

Lovely area, we did have loud neighbours hooning on there dirt bikes which broke the serenity but besides that a great site. Happy to pay the extra money for a more secluded site compared to across the road. Just watch the feral cat and midnight goat visits. The fire pits where a great addition too

We loved our stop at the Pines, it was very private and peaceful. The area was large enough to park several vans. Tom called by to check we were OK. It was lovely to have a chat and understand about his farm. Mungo National Park is a must do.

We absolutely loved camping at WILGA. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but you aren’t. Great spacious sites and right next to mungo national park. Was fabulous!

Great spot right next door to Mungo NP, options to camp near toilet or on the hill, we chose the hill and were awarded with a wonderful sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately the self drive around the NP was closed but still worth a visit in my opinion.

Thomas‘s land was absolutely magical! So close to everything with the privacy of feeling like we had it all to ourselves. Tom was so so lovely and went above and beyond! I would definitely recommend staying here and we will if we are ever this way again!! Thanks again!!

Top Hut Camping was at one of the most beautiful locations I've ever been. I kept pinching myself because it just kept getting more and more breathtaking as our stay went on. It was also amazing to have the site for just our group. Highly recommended!

Great spot, nice and secluded, so peaceful. Just outside the np and dog friendly! Lucky enough to have a pair of pink cockatoos visit the tree next to us in the morning!
