Burraburoon Farmstay is a working sheep property located in outback NSW, between Hay and Deniliquin.
Camping (Bob's Bend) is on the banks of a private lake with extensive gardens - offering a unique opportunity to find a personal sense of stillness and tranquillity in a way like no other.
At Bob's Bend there is a camp kitchen, toilets and showers, as wel;l;. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash. Please note - no motorized boats on the lake.
We also have a private primitive camp in the paddock with unlimited camping sites. Bush dunny and firewood provided. Bore water available from tap.
No water views, just you and nature.

What a great little spot! The amenities were clean and the kids loved the kayaks! We wish we had longer than 2 nights! The hosts were really beautiful and accommodating!! Will come back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Burraburoon’s farmstay and our dog loved it too. It’s a good place to relax and enjoy nature. Just something for future campers to be aware of: we saw 2-3 monitor lizard around the area three to four times during our stay. It didn’t bother us, but it’s helpful to know what to expect when camping here.

What a fantastic place to stay! We camped with the van for a week and it was perfect. The camp kitchen has all you could need and is neat and clean. The toilet and shower blocks are also very clean. There was plenty of wildlife, emus, eagles, kangaroos and goannas. The kayaks and private lake was perfect for the hot summer days. Fire pits available for the cooler nights.
Hosts Tertia and Ken lovely and very accommodating.
We would highly recommend this camp to everyone!

We loved this site. It was remote, has a great fire pit and lovely red dirt. The hosts were really easy to communicate with and the site was easy to find. We like being away from it all so this was great for us. The stars at night time were brilliant as was the drive in with so many emus (with babies) to spot. We loved our night here.

Primitive Paddock Camping at it's best.
Great flat ground, easy to set up and good access for the caravan.
Having sheep, kangaroos and emus visit us was an added bonus.
Ken was a great host, he met us on the camp grounds went through the do's and should not's.
Just loved the peace and quiet, with the calming sounds of nature

We had a fantastic night stay, and really wish it was longer. The waterside camp setting was stunning and we enjoyed a bike ride through the trails in the morning. The camp kitchen and bathrooms were unexpectedly comfortable and the hot shower on a very cold morning was much appreciated. Thanks for having us!

We absolutely loved our stay on the lake. The whole place was amazing, from having outdoor bush showers and toilet to a camp kitchen with a deck. It was so peaceful and the hosts were kind and helpful. Will definitely be back if we ever head this way on our travels again.

We stayed at the primitive site and it had everything needed. A quiet place with no one else to bother you. The sand you camp on was firm and given that it rained on us, soaked up any puddles. I’d gladly come back again! And the hosts are responsive to messages and great to chat with 👍

My family loved camping at Bob's Bend. Our campsite was big enough for our 2 cabin tents. We had a lakeside space with our own fire pit. The camp kitchen is generously decked out with communal fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, bbq and a burner. We didn't use the woodfired pizza oven but will plan for it next trip. The deck over the lake offered great sunset views. The toilets and showers are clean with running hot water. There is also a washing up station. The large communal fireplace was lovely too. Tertia and Ken have generously invested in the campsite to make it comfortable, clean and very welcoming.
The lake was shallow when we visited allowing our kids to learn kayaking skills in relative safety. Deep enough to swim or fall out with out hitting the bottom and shallow enough to walk across.
Stargazing is spectacular. We enjoyed waking early to watch meteor shower. Bird watching during the day was great. Next time we will bring a book to I'd them.

We loved camping at Burraburoon, it felt like an oasis. We were welcomed by the host and shown all facilities. Including showers, toilets and outdoor kitchen and dining area which was stocked with all the essentials. The boats were a great addition to float the day away. Site 1 is closest to the amenities and is on the water with well kept grass surrounding

We love this ‘hidden gem’. It is a tranquil campsite with long cool evenings and perfect mornings and days. We enjoyed a lazy kayak/canoe, long easy hike with ample wildlife to view and great sunset meal on the deck. My ladies in the camp group loved the clean and smart facilities. Definitely recommend.
