Welcome to Hay Motel and Tourist Park! Hay Motel and Tourist Park is located 1km East of the Sturt and Cobb Highway junction. The gateway to outback NSW, Hay Motel and Tourist Park is the ideal stop-over point for those travelling between Sydney and Adelaide and those en-route to Queensland. Situated only 100m from the picturesque Murrumbidgee River and surrounded by the vast open Hay Plains our park offers accommodation to suit all travellers and budgets. Our grassed drive-thru powered and unpowered sites, drive-thru ensuite sites, ensuite and non-ensuite cabins and camp sites, are all set in a bush-like setting adding to the pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. EXPLORE OUR HERITAGE as Hay has many special places for you to visit, from our spectacular 1892 Courthouse to our imposing Railway station, the cemetry to our much loved Sunbeam Cobb & Co coach. Loved our stay
Powered Ensuite Site
We stopped at Hay Caravan Park on our way from Adelaide to Hunter Valley and we were so nicely surprised. We stayed in a powered ensuite site and it was perfect. Neat, tidy, clean, all we needed. The reception was friendly and helpful, I can’t fault the place at all. We were also very happy to find a swimming pool on arrival which was so lovely amongst the gum trees - so refreshing after a long drive. Quiet, well maintained spot - highly recommended. (We stayed again on our way back home and all was consistent with our first stay).

Lovely play to stay
Powered Ensuite Site
Hay Caravan Park is a lovely place to stay. Whilst the park is a little older, the hands on, friendly managers maintain a high standard with both the tidiness of the sites and the cleanliness of the ensuites. Located on the Murrumbidgee River, the park is a short drive or bike ride into town.

Lovely big sites
Powered Sites
Stayed at a powered site. Lovely big site with lots of room and flat grass to pitch the tent. Lovely big shower cubicles with enough space to put your change of clothes. And staff were wonderful. My go to place when in Hay now.
