Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Surrounded by bush on the North side, its the perfect spot for large groups and for a peaceful getaway with the dam to the East. Hidden at the bottom of the valley, protected from rain, wind and strong sun, it's perfect any time of the year. A short walk and or drive from the creek and animals, its perfect for the kids. We are respectful of CFA Fire Regulations and strictly adhere to restrictions, please note campfires won't always be possible. Additional cars/campers attract additional fees. We consider each camper //caravan an additional booking.

This site sits 50m from our main homestead, on top of the hill, overlooking Seymour and Tallarook State Forrest. Can hook up to power. We are of the grid 100% so will need to be aware of how much power is being consumed, i.e. running aircon/heater all night. We have a generator which you may hear. Otherwise, there is a toilet which guests can use on the outside of the main shed (it is a working tradesman toilet, not a five star loo). If towing a caravan, 4WD will be needed. Otherwise, a 2WD is adequate. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 pet goat and the chicken coup in a short walk from the site. Perfect for those passing through or wanting that bush experience away from the "normal" campsites but still have the luxuries. On long weekends, you may see other campers drive by. Additional cars/camper vans/caravans allowed but will attract additional fees. We now have 2 tiny houses that are near by to this campsite.

The North Wing of our main homestead sits to the North West corner of our property, over looking the Tallarook Ranges and down towards Melbourne. The homestead, as is the rest of the property, is entirely off the grid - meaning all power and water you consume comes from the sun and the rain. The house has two bedrooms, one and half bathrooms and an impressive kitchen and living area - walking out to the veranda with a pool (summer months only) and BBQ/alfresco area. The accommodation is solely private for your use for the duration of your stay. We have a section of the homestead which is used for our private residence, in no way will we impact your stay. There is plenty of space for additional camping around the homestead making it ideal for larger group. Extra cost for additional campers.

In the heart of the farm, sits our newly renovated, two-bedroom cottage, with an open plan kitchen and living area, bathroom, wood burning fireplace and an outdoor area with firepit, it is the perfect place to disconnect. There is something for every age. From bushwalking and fishing, to stargazing and animal feeding, from relaxing with a cold beer during Summer to enjoying a glass of red wine in front of the fire in Winter, it is the perfect place to reconnect at any time of the year. Please note, that the cottage sleeps 4, however space for 2 extra is available on couches, linen and towels are not provided for the extra 2. Also ideal for those that want to glamp but have friends that want to camp. There is enough space for multiple caravans or tents.

Excellent property well setup and spaced out for privacy. Large spots designated with fire pits. Highly enjoyable for a weekend stop. Make sure you pack A good book and pack of cards nothing else to do but relax and stargaze.

We loved camping at this location. The views were absolutely stunning, and there were no other campers around so it was very Serene and peaceful. My kids liked feeding the pigs and goats. Who certainly be back to this location and will bring friends next time!

Lovely spot to camp. Power and picnic table make it an easy spot for first timers! Toilet is very basic and needs a clean but other than that the goats and dogs are super friendly
