We loved the beautiful green sweeping hills the cliff faces of the valley the quiet restfulness of the area. We had a site that over looked the Macalister river. You could fish, take a leisurely walk, feed the animals on the farm, BBQ, picnic, swim, float on inflatables leisurely down the river, relax and read a book, play a game of cricket, kick a footy, ride your bike or just relax and watch the birds or sheep wondering around the farmland. There are fire drums available and you can buy bags of fire wood, so toasting marshmallows is another option. Clean showers and toilets. No playground. Dogs are welcome and a off leash area is available. Minimal powered sites, and cabins, but lots of great non powered sites.

This place was gorgeous. The sites were extremely spacious with multiple fire drums. We loved seeing the baby sheep and watching them run around. Beautiful location and great hospitality. Toilets were kept super clean and the showers were hot. 10/10 experience

One of the best camping sites I’ve ever been to! We booked a powered site, and the facilities were excellent. The toilets and showers were very clean and well maintained, and they also offer a laundry service which you can use with either coins or a card super convenient. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t thank them in person before checking out as the office was closed, but we’ll definitely be coming back in summer with the kids !

An ideal place to escape the madness of urban life. Delightful and helpful hosts, sheep amble through the campground which is spread out along the riverbank. Perfect for the dog with a leash free area for ball chasing and eyeing off a fox that came strolling through. Fire pits supplied and the facilities are clean. Me and the dog will be back.

Had an amazing stay at Paradise Valley.
Great hosts. Check in was quick and thorough. My 2 night stay was relaxing, watching kangaroos and birds, sunrise and sunsets. Would have loved to stay for a couple more nights.

Awesome spot definitely would come back, if you prefer a quieter time definitely go mid week. All amenities where clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly too.

Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. Seems to be very well run. Great river to swim and kayak in. Lots of magpies in our area. Sheep grazing on the hill. Views are equally gorgeous from the valley or up high on the hill at the entrance. Take some cash if you want to buy from the food vans that sometimes visit- phones and eftpos don’t work down at the campsites.
Everyone gets a camp close by the river and a fire pit- trade off is that you may be quite a walk away from the toilets - not too bad if you prepare for it. Some people rode bikes back and forth, occasionally someone would drive up to the bathroom. Others came self contained. Highly recommend a stay.

We loved that every site was river front and had plenty of room. The scenery was beautiful and we can’t wait to stay again in warmer weather. It was so handy having the fenced off leash dog park. We can’t speak highly enough of this place.

Camping at Paradise Valley was wonderful. I made some friends with the people camping there. The river is very accessible for swimming with swimming spots in several places. The unpowered sites are spacious. I highly recommend this place for families.

Great stay at Paradise Valley. Each pitch has its own fire pit and every pitch has its own access to the river. They enough space for you to feel like you have the bike place to yourself. My kids and dog loved the riverand we didn't want to leave.

So green and lush! Campsites grassy and roomy, lots of space to walk the doggies! River sound beautiful. A very tranquil place to relax, no internet which is great! Means you can really go off grid and concentrate on relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery. Definitely will go back. We went during the week so not too busy. I feel sad I am back home now, I miss that beautiful tranquil place already. Thankyou to the helpful staff too. Loved it!!

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Valley. The location is delightful, by a flowing river in which we swam and swung off a rope into the water. The sites were covered in comfy grass; a fire pit was available; the sky was clear. Sheep wandered by in the morning. Kookaburras laughed. Not crowded. Could not have been happier.

I highly recommend Paradise Valley. We went mid week and had ample non powered sites to choose from. The toilet/ laundry block located centrally and was very clean. The shop had most things we needed. The staff extremely helpful. We brought 2 dogs and they had an amazing time. All campsites right on the river with beautiful views.

It’s a beautiful campsite with clean toilet and hot shower, there is microwave and washing machine which you can pay to wash your clothes.
The view is amazing , huge campsite with greens and hills. Very friendly owner and helpful.
Every campsite have firehose, tap water and campfire pit.
There is animal which makes the place so joyful and nature. Will surely go back for my next trip.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful river and flat grass to set up swags and tents. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. 100% recommend to stay here, owners were very lovely! (Just no phone service)
