Enjoy the casual 20-minute stroll into town, unearth the captivating nature of the hidden Mosaic Trail, hop on the rail trail less than 5 minutes away and for those last-minute supplies or just needing to stock up, the property is only a 2-minute drive into town. Sunset Viewing is perfect for larger groups and able to accommodate up to 15 caravans. It has access tracks to the beautiful, flowing and crystal clear river for those eager to catch some trout, view our resident platypus or just enjoy a refreshing dip. With tall gums and poplar trees on the western edge for afternoon shade, it's the ideal camp-site during the winter months for those with solar panels aiming to take full advantage of the sun. With eye-catching views of the mountain range, its the perfect location for walks along the river, taking in the imposing sunset views or to encounter an abundance of native wildlife, from echidnas, our resident platypus, sugar gliders, deer and wombats through to the large array of native birdlife.

Beautiful and private space. Michael has thought of everything and the space was immaculately maintained. Quiet, peaceful and perfect place to get away.

Unfortunately I only got to stay one night and I did have the place to myself. Both camp sites are spacious and well maintained. Located close to town but with no noise whatsoever apart from the river and the birds. Michael is a great host, very accommodating and keen to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Mick's place is delightful. Tucked away with complete privacy but an easy walk into Mytleford. Surrounded by trees, the River Ovens runs along the edge of the site, with easy access on a shallow stoney bank. Clear water. Mick has thought of everything needed for an extra luxurious stay. Toilets, hot shower, lighting, seating and more. We can highly recommend this piece of paradise and will definitely return. Thank you Mick for your generosity and especially the additional help with sorting the mechanical issue on the car.

I couldn't recommend this beautiful place more. The views were sensational, and the camp spot was 10/10. The property is immaculate and Michael was a fantastic host, his directions were nice and clear prior to our arrival. He couldn't be more accommodating. Do yourself a favour and dont miss out on this slice of paradise, our kids and us (mum n dad) cant wait to go stay again.

We LOVED our time at this site! Michael is a fantastic, thoughtful and friendly host. The site had all the ammenities you could dream of for ‘luxury’ camping. The site was beautiful and clean and when we arrived and Michael was extremely helpful with anything needed. I will definitely be staying again and will be highly recommending to anyone looking for somewhere that makes a multi day or longer camp, a comfortable stay. Close to shops, shower, toilet, shade, gorgeous views and a beautiful stream. Please stay here if you have the chance.

Beautiful view from the sunset campground, with the flat campground perfect and spacious to tent camp on. The facilities were clean and well stocked, the shower was very warm too! Michael was lovely, meeting our group and giving great recommendations around the area 😄

Above & beyond & absolutely stunning! From the moment I booked my trip I knew this holiday was going to be enjoyable and it certainly was. Communication and directions were spot on and so easy to follow. I tend to get lost a bit too easily but Michael's directions were perfect and clear. The property has so much provided for your stay from toilets and shower, to lighting and fire pits, among other things I'll let you discover yourself when you visit! Not only are the facilities above & beyond what I expected, Michael's willingness to provide guidance, destination suggestions within the region and overall support made my experience such a pleasure. A crystal-clear, stone-lined river, mountain views, wildlife, and stunning sunrises and sunsets make this property a must-see spot to unwind and let your soul rest.
