Beautiful location for watching birds and kangaroos and stargazing. Very comfortable and spacious camping location. Staff on site were able to provide tools and advice when asked

We had a great stay camping by the lake. It gets beautiful morning sun and welcome shade in the afternoon, making it really comfortable throughout the day. The setting is peaceful and relaxing.
We saw plenty of birdlife and wildlife, including an echidna and kangaroos, which was a real highlight. Jemillia was responsive and very accommodating. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous Australia Day long weekend here. We had a great spot on the lake, fabulous friendly host and staff, 1.45hrs from home, beautifully maintained property, excellent facilities, in fact, the bathroom here is better than most hotels I've stayed in! Pet friendly upon request and so relaxing. We loved it so much we booked for Easter! Can't wait to come back.

This place is just perfect. Clean toilets and showers, beautiful scenery, 2 beautiful lakes. Just 5 mins from town. Couldn't recommend enough.

This has got to be the most well looked-after property I have seen in any recent memory. Really - just so nice. We camped at Camp 1 and had lots of space to spread out. The lake was at our doorstep and a welcome escape from the heat. It’s very shallow with lots of vegetation so floating on the surface is the way to go!
The shower / toilet was amazing - spotless and real luxury for camping. We had a whole spectrum of weather and conditions and no real issues. It can get quite windy so def peg down your stuff securely. A great spot and will def come back. Thanks so much!

We were warmly greeted by Aaron and taken over to our campsite. We were then free to enjoy the natural surroundings, including the neighbouring bush and lakes for a swim.

Second time here! Went with the kids this time. They loved it! Perfect spot to bring the kids. They had a ball fishing and exploring the property. A very well maintained and clean property. We’ll definitely be back a third time.

Absolutely Loved Our Stay at Lancefield Lake Campground!
We just spent a fantastic day at the Lancefield Lake campground and had to share our experience.
The star of the show is, without a doubt, the stunning lake itself. Our lakeside spot offered breathtaking views from morning until night. Waking up to mist over the glassy water and ending the day with a fiery sunset reflecting on the surface was pure magic. It's incredibly peaceful and scenic.
A major plus was the excellent infrastructure. The public restroom and shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Having access to reliable hot showers and spotless toilets really elevates the whole camping experience. The sites were well-defined, and the overall grounds were tidy and orderly.
It's the perfect blend of beautiful nature and convenient, clean facilities. We felt completely relaxed and will definitely be back! Highly recommend booking a lakeside spot for the full experience.

We stayed here and it was exactly what we wanted. Quiet. Private. Open space with lake views. Mornings were calm by the water. Nights were dark enough to see the stars and sit by the fire. No crowds. No noise. Amenities were clean and practical. A stunning, easy place to camp/caravan and slow down.

Lancefield Lakes is a peaceful and relaxing camping spot by a dam that is home to many birds. Upon arrival we were greeted a guided to a site that suited our needs, shaded by the trees and close to the amenities and dam. Other campers were far enough apart, it felt we were quite isolated. Jemilla is organised and quick to reply, both before and during our stay. Late check out is also appreciated.

Beautiful and peaceful campsite with a mystical morning view. The site is well spaced and private, away from other campers. Bathrooms and toilets were clean, and waking up to the sounds of birds and cows was very relaxing. We also saw wildlife like kangaroos, which made the stay extra special. Highly recommended for a quiet nature escape.

This campsite was absolutely spotless! The surroundings were breathtaking, and the toilets and bathrooms were clean with hot water. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. I’ll definitely be back again!

This is a beautiful property! Very peaceful and so picturesque. We really appreciated how much space we had for our set up. It was an easy walking distance to the amenities and drinking water. We are already planning our next trip :) Thank you Jemillia, Dale and Aaron!

Could not say enough good things about our experience at lancefield lakes - our friend’s tent broke and Jem kindly lent us one of theirs, saving the trip. The toilets are very clean and well maintained and there a lot of space between sites. They were also very generous with the firewood. 10/10.

Our group of 8 loved our three nights at Lancefield Lakes! It is teeming with birdlife and we were super impressed with the facilities. Aaron and Jemima did a great job helping us settle in. Might need to restock the trout though — caught nothing but eels!

This place is absolute magic! We will 100% be coming back. We didn't know Lancefield before but have always loved visiting Kyneton, Woodend and Daylesford which are close by.
The sites were so good - plenty of space, firewood and the lakeside view is perfection.
The shower and toilets were excellently maintained too.
The eggs there are worth getting - so delicious. Hopefully next time we'll be able to get some honey.
Jemilia was such a helpful and responsive host whenever we sent a query and Aaron the farm manager was an absolute champion.
loads of local wildlife around - we spotted a wombat, echidna and loads of kangaroos whilst there and the bird choir was something special at sunset.
Our 10 YO took his bike and loved all the trails around the campsite so take bikes if that's your thing!
Oh and if you like a local beer, highly recommend the Lost Watering Hole.

An absolutely beautiful and well-kept property. Lancefield Lakes offers stunning views in a peaceful, tranquil setting—perfect for switching off and enjoying nature. The facilities are excellent and clearly well maintained, which really enhances the overall experience.
Jemillia was a fantastic host—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great stay. Aaron, who is involved in managing the property, was also excellent to deal with and very responsive whenever assistance was needed.

We had an amazing time at the site by the lake. The group of 8 were evenly spaced out on comfortable flat grass. Ammenities were great to have and is a luxury during this occasion. I will definetly come back with a rod and reel next time!

What a beautiful spot! Aaron welcomed us and showed us to camp where we had wood in abundance for the fire. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but love to come back and float/swim in the lake. Jem, the host was awesome in answering all my Q’s ahead of arrival as we camped with big group.

Absolutely amazing campsite. Not only it ticked all the boxes in my list, but also doing extra.
Lots of space to choose from, clean and modern facilities, very helpful staff.
And yes, fishing is good. We got a huge eel!
Definitely would recommend and surely will come back.

We had a fantastic time here. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning lakes and plenty of space to relax. The campsites are well spaced out, private, and spacious. it never felt crowded.
The bathroom facilities were excellent. clean, modern, hot water, and with two separate toilets, which made things so convenient.
The hosts were fantastic and really welcoming.
Our kids had an amazing time kayaking on the lakes and exploring the bushland — such a great spot for families.
We’ll definitely be back!

Would highly recommend Lancefield Lakes. We were a group of 8 and wanted private space away from other groups and that’s exactly what we got. Eveyone was well spaced out, bathroom and toilets were extremely clean, grounds were immaculate and everything was so well thought of. Jemillia was very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay. Aaron greeted us and made us feel welcomed immediate and checked in on us the next day. We will definitely be back!
