Nice place for the night. Site for my RV was level and well maintained. I was honoured to have the company of a kookaburra family and their young family. So delightful !

Favourite spot on our road trip! 👍
Pleasingly well-equipped campsite - ample clean toilets and showers, decked out clean kitchen and well-maintained swimming pool, fire pit, TV, ping pong table etc. Please note that as international tourists, we had trouble receiving the booking number from the camp (which is different from the HipCamp one and is needed for check-in and check-out), so maybe use a local number if you can. If not you can find a member of staff to help you at the site.

At first glance, the complex looks nice and well maintained, but don’t be fooled by appearances.
The tent camping area (for tents) is located right next to permanent residential cabins, where people live all year round. This completely destroys any sense of peace or camping atmosphere. One of the residents from house number 57 decided to throw a party and invite friends. They put a TV outside, played loud music, and treated the campsite like their private backyard.
The noise lasted until 1 a.m. When I went over and asked them to turn the music down, they technically did — but then continued loud conversations until 2 a.m., making it impossible to sleep.
What makes this even worse is the fact that there is no staff present in the evenings, so people can do whatever they want without any consequences. No supervision, no quiet hours enforced, no respect for campers.
I strongly advise against staying at this place, especially if you are camping with a tent and expect even basic peace and quiet. If you value rest, sleep, and a proper camping experience — stay far away.
No regards to the management of this campsite.

A great place to stay for families. massive double kitchen shed includes dining facility with TV etc. Keeps kids busy.. Trees are all over which feels a little bit unsafe during the winds. Other than that its a great facility

Trent was super friendly, local residents at the site was very helpful and we even saw some tawny frogmouth owls! Be wary of ants nests but other than that was a great stay!

We recently stayed at Bushland Caravan Park, and it was a fantastic camping experience! The park itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful bushland — perfect for a relaxing getaway.
A special shoutout goes to Doug, the site manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to help us set up our tent (which definitely saved us some time and stress!) and even sorted us out with firewood so we could enjoy a cozy campfire in the evening. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made a big difference and really added to the positive experience.
Highly recommend Bushland Caravan Park — especially thanks to Doug’s hospitality and the great atmosphere around the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything is well set up. The kitchen area is very clean even has cooking stuff in it. And two great wood heats.
Bathrooms and toilets very clean. Will be back for sure. 😆

Communal areas such as toilets and kitchen are extremely clean. Lots of facilities such as pingpong table, cricket, swimming pool, and a playground. Well done!

Everything was great from start to finish. We checked in late & called Doug he came up within a few minutes & gave us our map. The area we were at was easy to find & close to amenities. The amenities were so good, kitchen was fully equipped with tv area as well. Showers were clean & hot toilets also clean. Would definitely return.

Fantastic campsite. Everything was clean and looked after. The grass was soft and the peace and quiet was great.
When we were there there was hardly anyone else camping there so I don't know what it's like when it's busy but I dare say they keep a real tight ship.
My 9-year-old made friends and loved it too. There wasn't a huge amount of kids activities (which is normally an issue for her 🙄) but she still had a great time and loved it.
There wasn't much around without having to take a drive but given how nice the campsite was it's not really an issue.
Will definitely go back 👍👍

We arrived at about 4 pm on a Sunday in pouring rain. The office was closed and a map marked to show the route to our site, left at the door. The site chosen for us was rough, uneven and depressing. It looked to us like we might get bogged. There was no owner or manager present so we could not discuss any alternate sites. We therefore left the "park" and found a beautiful little caravan park with an owner in his office who helped us select an excellent site.

A nice and clean Park. Huge, well equipped camp kitchen. Swimming pool was great. Very family orientated park. The grass on the grassed sites (which was most of them) is the softest real grass I have ever walked on in bare feet, problem is, my wife want's me to lay the same grass around our place now.

The Bush camp was beautiful very well kept camp grounds ,like a golf course lol Owner was fantastic and very helpful .The site that we were booked into with Hipcamps was a bit steep but he was very obliging and gave us a beautiful grassed site We will definitely come back .I think calling up would be best to get the better site

We stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend.
Lovely place to stay not far from lakes entrance and metung, warm showers and clean toilets. Dog friendly on leash. Decent size area for vehicle, boat and tents. Very quiet during the night compared to those other noisy parks. Would happily stay here again. Thumbs up

We did a quick stop over at Trent's. It was a lovely surprise. Beautiful bush with lots of wildlife we even had a glider come down from the trees and check us out. We had to checkout late as our other accommodation had some storm damage and was not ready for us. When I asked the host if that was ok they were very accommodating.
Great place for a stop.

We booked here last minute and just for a night and wished we could have stayed longer. The park itself is surrounded by beautiful trees and is so welcoming. The sites are spacious and facilities are great. The camp kitchen and communal fire place were the real icing on the cake, clean and beautifully structured. Will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at lakes bushland campground very much. nestled beneath gum trees we had a wide open space right infront of our site. The campground has a rustic bush feel, which we love. The kids had a ball and were well entertained with a playground, games, a pool and plenty of space to go and explore. The camp kitchen is a welcomed space to hang out , cook or just have a chat to fellow travelers. A big bonus for guests with fourlegged friends, the have a fully fenced dog park available.
