Stay at the park and enjoy fishing, surfing, swimming, beach walks, and even whale watching during the winter, or head off for an adventure and explore the nearby town of Wonthaggi, the Bass Coast Rail Trail, the wineries of South Gippsland, or even a day trip to Phillip Island or Wilson’s Promontory. All camping sites are within a short walking distance to the beach and include access to the main camping area, which features barbecues, a camp kitchen, full laundry facilities, and modern amenities. Please note that while we do our best we can not guarantee a specific site number. Your site will be assigned to your on arrival. There are more than 100 powered tourist sites located throughout the park, all in natural, shady bush settings. It’s a perfect spot for the kids, not only because of the playgrounds and walking tracks, but it’s only a short walk to the beach without having to cross any roads. The main camping area also has barbecues, a camp kitchen, full laundry facilities and modern amenities. These sites are Pet Friendly year-round.

Check in was easy, mostly done online prior to arriving, Carol was very nice and the park was lovely and in a perfect place right next to the beach.
