What a top spot. Grassy, a place for a cool dip, open space, not too close to neighbouring campers, mountain views. We loved Loretta's property and would stay again! Great on your own, with a partner or with kids.

Beautiful spot, mostly peaceful even on a long weekend. Great campsite with ample room. Unfortunately for us it’s too expensive , kids over 13 pay full price which is a bit steep with teenagers in the family.

High Country Paradise
Stayed here over the Cup weekend for the second time. Six families, heaps of room and we LOVED it yet again. Right on the creek with the toilet a short walk. Ordered a trailer of firewood and was heaps for 3 nights. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

High Country Paradise
We had such a great time here! The place was super spacious and perfect for our big group. Loved having the creek nearby and the fireplace was awesome for hanging out in the evenings.
The kids were absolutely obsessed with Jimmy the horse who came by every day. Loretta was a wonderful host and made everything easy for us.
We stayed at Site 2, which was really nice and private. The only small thing was that the toilets were a bit of a walk. Everything else was perfect.Would 100% stay again.

A great spot to day trip around the whole Ovens Valley or quietly hang around and have a go at the trout.
Great sites for larger groups.

Beautiful location, it was great having so much space, friendly helpful host. However at $36.13 per person per night was overpriced.

High Country Paradise
High Country Paradise is probably our favourite camp-site in Victoria! The views are stunning and we camped right by the river side. It's easy to have firewood delivered to the site and very convient having a flushing toilet too.
We has such a peaceful camping trip and we will be back!

Our second time there, very lovely and beautiful. Enjoyed our time there with family and my little dog. Would recommend others for some peace and quiet time. It’ll be beautiful towards summer to enjoy that stream so close. Easy access to toilet. Just RIGHT.

We stayed at site 5 which was a fantastic spot. Close to the river and just a 5 minute walk to the toilets. Grounds are kept so clean! Beautiful place to stay and great for kids. Lots of space to run around. Loretta was wonderful, brilliant communication 😊 Definitly planning on coming in the summer to put that river to good use 😎

Huge sites, beautiful valley with creek access from each site. Watch out for the wombat holes, and yes we did see on in the middle of the night. Also saw deer, rabbits, evidence of kangaroo and wallaby and the owners dogs, horses and goats will supervise your pack down! Despite the almost constant rain this visit, we still had a great time. Perhaps the forecast is why we had the whole place to ourselves. Hope to be back again soon.

High Country Paradise, is a great place to camp when you are looking for that quiet campsite with friends. The camp sites are spread out hundreds of metres apart, and great open sites where you can camp around the fire pits at each site. The property is at the end of a valley with great views and really close to Myrtleford, looking forward to camping there again.

In one word- stunning!
Very quiet, private, huge camp site spaces, massive fire pit. Beautiful friendly inquisitive horses.
A gorgeous entrance into the property. Not too far from Myrtleford.
Bubbling brook / creek behind the property. We loved it.
Loretta greeted us at the gate w the code to get through.
Highly recommend for a peaceful bush experience

We loved our stay at high country paradise. There was lots of space between camp sites, good, clean flushing toilets and Loretta gave us all the info we needed. Highly recommend.

Stunning view of the mountain. Very quiet and well maintained camping spot. Great distance between other campers. Stream is a huge plus for kids to have a splash. Will definitely come back to camp next time
