Fulham Riverfront Campsite
An amazing spot for both caravans and tents with beautiful views and easy access to the river for fishing or paddling.
A yoga session with Michelle enhanced the serenity and took relaxation to another level.

With a beautiful outlook and peace and quiet, our stay involved kayaking down the river with our own fire and just birds as company. This is our third visit and we will be back again.

The photos on hipcamp didn't do David's picturesque property justice. You have to visit to appreciate the beauty that the campsite is set on. David met us and took us to our campsite and gave us some local spots to visit during our stay.
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday surrounded by nature this is the place for you.
We met the pet sheep,alpacas, Galloway's, chooks and the gorgeous puppy Levi.
David's hospitality was above and beyond, he invited us to the homestead to collect some eggs and gave us a guided historical tour of the homestead, stables and the old school.
After a stormy night he came to check on us to make sure we were ok.
We will definitely be back again.

Fulham Riverfront Campsite
My extended family camped in caravans on grass amongst beautiful gum trees right at the waters edge. We had four kayaks all parked on the sandy launch point, the river was calm with no passing water traffic. Plenty of free wood for our camp-fire easily gathered. Such a peaceful place. We also had a lovely yoga class in an amazing yoga studio on the property.

We camped for 3 nights on this awesome patch of grass by the river - not something you get often. Our host David was so lovely & i just adored his cute little puppy Levi.. thank you so much once again, can't wait to come visit again so I can watch the stars on a warm clear night

Magnificent campsite on the water surrounded by river red gums and birds. Plenty of room on lush green grass with a great fire pit and shelter. Enjoyed walks along the Glenelg River. David was a great host.

Sadly I had to cancel but Dave was terrific, I have camped on the other side of the river and often wondered what Dave's would be like. The views to his sights all look marvelous. With that said , the next free time I have I will venture to Fulham homestead and enjoy the river views from his side and also the far less congested camping ares he offers at very reasonable prices
Based on how Dave handled my cancellation I would go back there anytime. He was a great bloke. Thanks Dave, AA

We got to hang out with the local dog Baylee who came to visit us daily and played with all our dogs.

Fulham Riverfront Campsite
David was a gracious host to our group camping by the river. The firepits and available wood was fantastic, with serene views across the river and farm land. The kids had a ball exploring, kayaking, fishing and bike riding. A beautiful place to enjoy a weekend of relaxation with friends and family in the bush by the firepit. Lots of wildlife sightings, our dog was welcome to come with us and Bailey the lil farm dog was a treasure to hang put with.

What a treat this stay was—like stumbling across a little piece of paradise that you wouldn’t usually get access to. The riverfront space is absolutely stunning, with lush green grass and the most gorgeous, postcard-perfect view. It was so quiet and peaceful—just the kind of place your soul can take a deep breath.
Wandering around the farm was a delight. The geese were cackling, the alpacas were doing their quirky thing, and the miniature cows had that funny way of staring you down—such character! Every little detail added to the charm of the stay.
After just one night, it felt like we’d been away for three—totally refreshed and recharged. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. David was a thoughtful, kind, and easygoing host, full of great local tips and genuinely caring that we had a good stay.
And Bayley, the visiting dog, completely stole our hearts! So gentle, friendly, —added that extra special touch of warmth and joy.
We’re already planning our return. It’s the kind of place that stays with you. Thank you, David , for such a memorable experience!

We had an awesome time here. It is located in a beautiful spot right on the river and you are surrounded by wildlife. My favourite was the geese and my kids loved visiting the cows and the alpaca's. It is easy to find and David is friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend visiting and we would definitely go back.

We arrived a day early and David went out of his way to accommodate us.
The place was easy to find. The setting was beautiful. There were cows, alpacas, geese and Bailey the dog who often hung around. He was more interested in the kids. He did not pay us much attention.
There were various spots to set up with plenty of room between campers. Not much noise, the grass was green.

We camped as a group of 7 with 2 dogs. We had such a lovely spot on the river front on lawn. There was a fireplace provided and plenty of firewood around the property we could collect. Would definitely recommend!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this camping spot! The location by the creek was absolutely beautiful, falling asleep to the sound of flowing water was so peaceful. The birdlife was incredible. I spent so much time just watching and listening to them. The whole area had such a calm, serene vibe that made it easy to relax and unwind. The host was lovely, warm, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. The site itself was spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings. I would definitely come back! The dog loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fulham Homestead. If you would like to stop & unwind, this is the place. From the beautiful river front view, to the daily visits from Bailey the dog & the curious cows. We had a lovely grassed site & the river was very refreshing on a warm day.

Great location, flat, quiet, private and plenty of space. Visits from the local cattle and geese was a bit of fun. And Bailey the oh-so happy and oh-so loveable wonder dog was always a highlight. She just laid down and hung out and gave appreciative tail wags and attention which was so nice.
Catching more fish would have been good but that is probably related more to my fishing ability than the property LOL!
Great host - there if you need them, not in your face.

Riverside spot was lovely - on green grass in the middle of summer .
We also spent a night at the Creekside - much more private but less water - but more than enough .

Fulham Historic Creekfront
Met at front gate by host, David, who showed us to site and told us about the property.
Flat space to park two small vans.
Scenic view of creek and historic railway bridge.
Access to the creek can be tricky if you have mobility issues but we were able to enjoy several hours of water time in the late afternoon. The water gets deep quickly.
As we were the first campers, we had first choice of the site. We ended up with two lots of neighbours who were pretty quiet considering it was NYE.
I had 1 bar of Telstra service which could receive some calls and texts. My sister had no reception at all with Vodafone.
The bird and insect song was a nice change from traffic and the nighttime view of the stars was incredible.
We saw a mob of kangaroos, lots of different birds and a small lizard. The nearby farm animals were friendly too.

Clean, neat, everything was easy. Although we (sadly) missed the host, the geese, cows and sweet little Bailey kept us company. Will have to head back again to get the tour! Thank you for welcoming us onto your property :)

Fulham Creek homestead is a good central location to explore the beautiful lakes and reservoirs in the area, with welcoming little towns in between.
We camped on creek front flat, right beside the hertiage train bridge, which has several level areas for tents close to the waters edge but does suit campervans or trailers better. The water was cool and flowing once your in its a beautiful swim. Few large trees for shade and plenty of available firewood, well worth the drive, thoroughly enjoyed the spot, thanks David

Fulham Historic Creekfront
We stayed at the Creekfront camp site which we shared with two other campers but had plenty of room to be far enough away from each other.
Our area of creek was a shallow safe place for the kids to paddleboard and swim.
David was very accommodating, and we would visit again.

Beautiful spot right on the river with easy access for kayak. David was welcoming and attentive during my stay and was quick to respond to messages. His little dog came to visit me briefly each day. A great choice to avoid the crowded campsites nearby.
