Forge Creek Farm Stay

Awesome views almost 360 degrees over surrounding sweeping hills and lovely tree lines of neighbouring properties. Nigel was welcoming and offered us to fill our caravan water tanks. How cool is that? Pure rain water too. Towards the east end of camp 8 I saw a long neck turtle furrowing. What a massive task for it to climb up the hill from the beautiful Forge Creek. We met his lovely partner, Meekatharra who was also very helpful while filling up h2O before we left. Will recommend this stay to other travellers. Best regards Nigel and Meeka. We enjoyed a peaceful night by the fire and overlooking a beautiful wetlands. We had the choice of numerous sites all with plenty of space, distant farmland views and the company of nearby cattle. Nigel and Mieka were caring hosts and made our stay a very enjoyable one.

We stayed on site 10 with our van , we absolutely loved this spot !!! Kids had a ball visiting the cows and sheep and kangaroos nearby!! We had a campfire and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating, highly recommended

Forge Creek Big Tiny

Me and my partner stayed at Nigel's place for 2 night's and we had a great time. The location is beautiful and peaceful with lot's to see in nearby area's. They have everything kitted out really well. We would love to come back when we're next in the area

Unforgettable farm stay

This place was quite magical I must say. We were there for two nights with two young kids (8 and 5). Nigel gave us full access to all the cows, sheep, and chickens to play with a we wished. My girls couldn’t get enough of the animals. They fed them, they pet them and we even got to eat fresh sunny side up eggs straight from the chicken coop. At night we were lucky enough to get a clear sky and could see a lot of stars while star gazing around the fire pit. Amazing experience and really lovely and personable family on site.

We had a lovely stay at Nigel’s farm. Nigel and his wife are both very friendly and the sites were very spacious with beautiful views over the countryside. We bought some wood from Nigel that he brought is by his tractor. The kids loved it!

We had a great stay at Forge Creek. Our site (site 10) was very private and had a nice view of the wetlands. The location was great as well, very close to Bairnsdale township and a great base for exploring the area such as Lakes Entrance and Paynesville.

Nice and quiet with a view.

Nice quiet spot. Sites were huge and well separated. Nice spot to sit and watch the roos come out to feed in the late arvo on the ridge over the other side of the swamp. Lots of bird life as well. Just out of town, but felt like we were miles away.

Our stay at Forge Creek Farm Stay was absolutely fantastic! The site was spacious and beautifully maintained – the perfect place to relax and unwind. The owner is so friendly and helpful, providing firewood and a firepit, which added a special touch to our evening.

Great spot and even better the site was level, kangaroos came out to say hello, beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset. Far enough away from the other campers to have your own privacy. Hosts were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely! So quiet and in a beautiful spot next to the wetlands. Makes you feel like you’re wild camping. The town is just minutes away which was so convenient for when your needed to use a toilet. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see Gippsland as it’s not far from major sights but far enough away that you’re away from all the chaos of tourists in the summer

Forge Creek Big Tiny

We had an amazing stay at this tiny house! The house was clean, warm, and super comfy, with a modern touch that made it feel cozy yet stylish. The outdoor area was a highlight, it was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The outdoor bathtub was an unexpected surprise, and our kids absolutely loved it! We were eager to experience sleeping in a tiny house, and we're so glad we chose this one. The extra goodies they provided were such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable. Highly recommend this unique and charming getaway!

Gorgeous views! Nicely spaced so feels private. Easy drive to town. Kids loved the bike track over the fence and riding around the farm. Nice and quiet also. Would 100% recommend

Site 5 - Forge Creek Farm Stay

Love the site at Nigel’s farm, it was serene. Our dogs loved it! We had our dinner looking over the farm land, so peaceful and quiet. Nigel has kindly given some farm fresh free range eggs for our breakfast, they were lovely and big! Can taste the freshness in them.
