Tucked away in a leafy courtyard garden, The Barn feels like your own little hideaway in East Gippsland. It’s a lovingly converted country barn with loads of character -think timber beams, cosy corners, and the kind of quiet that makes you slow down. Step outside and you’ll hear frogs at night, spot native birds by day, and on a clear evening the stars will steal the show. Inside, you’ve got everything you need for a comfortable stay: a well-equipped kitchenette for easy meals, WiFi and streaming TV if you feel like curling up indoors, and a comfy bedroom perfect for two. Fire up the BBQ, pour a glass of local wine, and settle in by the outdoor fireplace, or bring your four-legged friend along and make it a truly relaxed getaway. You can also start your mornings with a locally produced breakfast basket, featuring fresh eggs from the property, and local bread and honey; the perfect way to fuel up before exploring. The Barn is private and peaceful, offering a cosy retreat that feels worlds away while still being just a short drive from Metung, Lakes Entrance, and the Gippsland Lakes it's ideal for a romantic weekend, a small escape with your four legged best friend, or a base for exploring East Gippsland’s beaches, villages, and natural beauty.The Barn is located at the very bottom of our property and the perfect weekend base to explore Metung and the surrounding lakes. The Barn
Just gorgeous, so much love put into this lovely abode. Sarah was so helpful especially since we were there during the recent fires/44degree days. She kept us so well informed of any updates with VIC emergencies and really went above and beyond to ensure our safety during this time.
