Pitch your tent, unroll your swag or park your caravan or camper and enjoy the seclusion of our lakeside camping area. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the sky and sunsets across the lake, over the distant hills. With 90 acres of bush on the property, together with the surrounding two state forests, there is plenty to explore. Tarra Bulga National Park, Ninety Mile beach, Port Albert and Yarram are only a short drive away. Bruthen Creek Pastoral Farmstay at Woodside North, in Central Gippsland, is located on an operating 235 acre cattle farm owned and run by Damian and Angela. Apart from the bulls, cows and calves there are also miniature horses, alpacas and chickens to interact with. Local wildlife includes kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, emus, goannas and maybe the odd koala. Overhead can be seen many birds including eagles, parrots, water birds while the RAAF Roulettes regularly practice their routines.​ There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. Pets welcome, but please ensure they are under control as there are cattle on the property.

Such a fantastic peaceful spot. Big flat grassy areas with terrific outlooks. Easy access to sites( which are well away from each other. Really private). Hosts are really nice and accommodating.

Stunning well maintained property. Very spacious. Damian is a great host and supplied some fire wood. Great views with also a dam that is catch and release. My daughter’s partner caught a decent size fish. Thanks so much! We will definitely be back.

This was a great spot to experience off grid camping. A wonderful landscape as a backdrop to wake up to and enjoy a fire into the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and we were able to feed the horses with our young ones. Also do get the eggs they were delicious. Will return.

A peaceful getaway with the best hosts! We recently stayed at Western Pasture and had such a great experience. The owners were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about their property. The sites themselves are spacious and serene, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the quiet. With a beautiful dam onsite and bushland nearby, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained and exploring. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to unwind in nature.

Third time back to this spot as we absolutely love it. Always so peaceful, with the bush surroundings, green paddocks and lots of bird life and kangaroos to see. Would recommend this spot to anyone needing a quiet escape!!

We loved our stay on Damian and Angela’s farm :) Damian was great with communication and met us at the entry. The camping spot was spacious, tidy, peaceful and private with lovely views. The property is very well maintained and full of wildlife. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back :)

We had 4 nights in the Bush Retreat site and couldn’t fault it. Huge area, surrounded by trees on three sides and cows at the front. Huge fire pit area and plenty of firewood. Peaceful, amazing starry skies, secure, great host. Will definitely be back to this one.

What a great location to stay, very quiet and relaxing. Great host, made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Large area can accommodate at least 4-5 vans plus tents. Dam water was very refreshing after a hot day. Will return for sure.

What an oasis! Beautiful and tranquil farm setting with kangaroos in the paddock at sunset and sunrise. Damian and Angela are exceptionally welcoming hosts who provided clear directions and a wonderful place to stay. We would love to come back!

One of the best in our opinion. Large grassed site close to the dam. We held our family Christmas get together this year. Perfect in every way 😊 No luck with the fish but we did catch an eel! Our boys enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the dam. Thanks again Damian, we'll see you again next year.

A sensational camping spot with the best hosts. The site was really large and could easily accommodate a number of families/campers. The site had gorgeous views. Damian and Angela were fantastic hosts. We can't wait to return.

We had a very relaxing stay at Damian’s farm. Beautiful property and wonderful host. If you’re after a bush stay this is perfect.A wallaby greeted us at our spacious but well sheltered camp spot and two emus said good morning from across the paddock as we cooked the most delicious eggs from Damian’s chickens. We did a night walk and spotted some frogs and plenty of kangaroos. We went to the beautiful beaches that were only a short drive away as well. This really is a little slice of paradise and can’t wait to come back.

Damian is a fantastic, welcoming host. The sites are well maintained, spacious and private. With great views on offer from the large dam, rolling hills, farm animals or abundant wildlife there’s is plenty to have you relaxed in no time. We have stayed multiple times and will be make many more.

We highly recommend Bruthen creek farm stay, as its such a beautiful property, with gorgeous views and lots of beautiful farm animals as well as an array of wildlife to view, morning and night. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind and yet there's plenty to do in the surrounding areas like visiting the quaint town of Yarram which is renowned for its art murals. and a must see if you enjoy great coffee, a good pub meal. A big thank you to the hosts Damien and Angela for making us feel so welcome and looking after us.

Wow! This was our first hip camp experience, Damian and Angela has set the bar high! Very lovely, friendly and accommodating couple! Property was magnificent! Kids love riding their bikes on the track around the property. Our youngest learned to ride his bike unassisted here! Very memorable experience! Will definitely comeback!
