Ashlan Farm is located is beautiful Boho South, North East Victoria in the tablelands of the Strathbogie Ranges. Hilltop House offers views over the orchard, Mt Wombat and Mt Seperation. It’s the perfect spot to base yourself and explore our beautiful part of the world. Perfect for anyone who is into nature, birdwatching or bushwalking. Great for couples, families or small groups. Ashlan is a working farm, and we also have an array of wildlife visiting. The property is a birdwatcher's delight, with a variety of species making the property home. If you like star gazing, you have found the right spot. We have no light pollution, so its the perfect place to take advantage of seeing the stars above. Unfortunately, as we are a working farm, the property is not pet friendly nor do we offer any animal experiences., however you may be lucky enough to see our friendly (and crazy goats). They do like a pat and love apples and mandarins. The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of six guests. Kitchen, wifi, laundry and BBQ. All guests will need to supply car registration details. This will give you access to the property. There is CCTV located at the front of the property and going up the driveway. We live onsite (in a separate house) if you need any assistance. You will need to bring your own supplies (food and drink) as the closest shop is 20 mins away. However feel free to go out for Friday night Fish and Chips at the Strathbogie Store, or check out the great country pubs at either Euroa or Violet Town. Just watch out for wildlife on the roads. Access to the property is also via approx 2kms of unsealed road. Ashlan Farm is 20 mins to Violet Town. Perfect if you wish to explore the Violet Town markets. 25 mins to Euroa 40 mins to both Benalla and Mansfield 90 minutes to Mt BullerShh.....want to know a secret? The Strathbogie Ranges is possibly Victoria's best hidden secret. The property is located in the Strathbogie Tablelands and is perfect for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and budding astronomers or to base yourself to explore the region with its many great walking tracks, waterfalls and even swimming holes. The cottage has three bedrooms and is fully self-contained. There are two bathrooms, and all linen (including electric blankets) is supplied. There is also free wifi available, board games and Foxtel. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a laundry, with a washing machine, dryer and clothesline. The cottage overlooks the property and has pretty views from every window, including views of Mt Separation and Mt Wombat. If you like to escape, de-stress and the smell of nature this is the place for you.

Out in peace and serenity!!

Hilltop Cottage - Ashlan Farn

My friends and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibes coming away here. It was peaceful, beautiful views everywhere you looked and the house feels like a home. We continuously were exploring/adventuring and then relaxing when arriving back home. Alison was an amazing host and we will more than likely rebook and stay again in the future!
