Explore the rock pools, stroll the pristine beach or walk to the top of the property for incredible panoramic views across to the Tasman Peninsula. Watering Place was the original name given by Captain Cook to Resolution Creek before being re-named by Captain Bligh. The site offers a truly serene camping experience nestled beside the creek that winds its way gently through the property. Shaded by a canopy of mature trees and dotted with tree ferns, this site provides a cool, restful retreat perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. The sound of the babbling creek sets a peaceful backdrop, as do the bird songs and waves rolling in at the beach nearby. The area boasts a large, level campsite perfect for RVs and tents, with plenty of grassy space for tents and outdoor activities. Conveniently close to the native bush walking tracks that run alongside the creek leading to the beach, this campsite offers space, privacy and seclusion for campers.

Two-Oaks is a truly magical camping spot shaded by two majestic English Oak trees, planted by our family in the late 1800s. Immerse yourself in nature at this enchanting site that features a spacious, flat, grassy area, providing ample room for your RV (and tents) and easy vehicle manoeuvrability. Though it’s within view of the homestead, it’s very private and isn’t visible from our other campsite, ensuring a tranquil retreat. It’s also conveniently located near the walking track that meanders alongside Resolution Creek and through the beautiful native bush, offering easy access to the beach where the gentle waves, rockpools and white sand awaits.

Two Oaks - magical
We had the great pleasure of staying at Woodleigh for 2 nights. The spot was amazing . Beautiful grassed area next to a stream . Waves crashing just over the road. Lovely camp fire and beautiful gardens. Great place for our dog to roam and very close to the most beautiful beach. Only 2 campsites here so very private. Host was wonderful and welcomed us with her home made Berry jam and brought over firewood . This is a must stay. Don't miss it.

Lovely green campsite by a trickling creek. Only a short walk to the beautiful beach. Our friendly hosts welcomed us with a jar of homemade jam.

We had a lovely stay at Kath & Alex’s place which was set in a stunning location moments from the beach. The camp site was extremely well maintained on their homestead & they were both super friendly. Would also recommend trying Kath’s blackberry jam which was top notch👌🏻 Definitely the best campsite we’ve been too!

Absolutely lovely property, great location, quiet and peaceful. Host’s Kathryn and Alex were very friendly and were there to greet us on arrival. We will be back again.

What genuinely lovely people sharing a part of their home. The ground is flat and a small creak runs past. 5 minute walk to the beach. A beautiful tranquil stay.

Beautiful and private spot in a great location, close to the beach. Kathryn and Alex were very welcoming even with a surprise booking only an hour earlier! Very peaceful and everything you need without being surrounded by other people. Able to sit by the fire and watch the wildlife go past or sneak in to the campsite. If you are looking for a lovely spot close to Adventure Bay, we highly recommend.

The most amazing place to set up camp. Peaceful, sheltered and just across the road from a beautiful beach. Kathryn and Alex were great hosts and I am looking forward to seeing them again on our next stay.

The site is so peaceful, we felt like we were the only ones there. The gardens are a standout, Alex and Kath are amazing hosts and have an amazing property and one definitely on our return list. Kaths's blackberry jam was delicious. The potter roos are so cute..

We had a lovely time camping at Watering Place. It was very private and surrounded by beautiful ferns and a creek running beside us. You can also hear the sound of the ocean nearby. We had a great time on the beach with our labrador which was all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thanx Kathryn and Alex for sharing your beautiful property and for the lovely jam 😀

We loved camping at Woodleigh! Very welcoming hosts and a beautiful property! So close to the beach and we got to pick some fruit for our journey. We also got to learn about the history of Woodleigh. Would definitely come back and stay 👌

Fantastic host and incredible location! We wished we could have stayed for a few more nights. The sites are spacious, private, and incredibly quiet at night—you can hear both the stream and the ocean. We also saw plenty of wildlife. The hosts were friendly, respectful of our privacy, and quick to answer any questions. Worth every penny! FYI: If you have Starlink, the coverage is excellent.

We loved our stay at Woodleigh farm. The site by the creek is lovely and roomy. Plenty of shade and sunny patches to enjoy lazing about and walking through the berry patch was such a delight! Even though it was the end of the berry season, we still managed to find a few little berry gems to sample. Kathryn is a warm and inviting (and an excellent jam and sauce maker 🤤). We’re sure everyone will enjoy camping at this little slice of heaven.

We were privileged to be one of the first groups to stay at Kathy and Alex's amazing campsite. Both sites are idyllic, with sun and shade options, lots of near-level sites to choose from and excellent fire pits surrounded by log seats. The property itself is a natural wilderness, testimony to the owners' efforts over many years to restore the natural balance to the bush. We picked our fill of blueberries, then had dinner around a lovely campfire and a peaceful night listening to the occasional Pademelon against the sounds of the ocean and the trickle of the stream. This is five star camping. Book early as it is bound to get way too popular.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Kath and Alex are wonderful hosts - easy to communicate with and were very welcoming. The site is stunning. Very peaceful and well-maintained beside a creek, with only a short walk (via one of the bush tracks) to the beach. We were made to feel very welcome - Kath met us with some locally made sourdough, and invited us to pick some of the blueberries on site. We would absolutely recommend this site to anyone wanting a peaceful stay on Bruny - only a short drive into Adventure Bay.

Extremely private spacious camping spot with an unreal fire pit, creek with a swing over it, two old oak trees, small walking track with a couple bridges, berry farm with the option to pick your own! A beach is directly across the road at the end of the walking track. Friendly hard working couple with an amazing attitude & dedication to maintaining their property. More than friendly and have decent knowledge of the land.
