Beautiful quiet spot next to the Esk River. Plenty of space, fire pots and even wood. Excellent swimming hole next to some small rapids, great for kids to explore. Karen was super friendly and accommodating. Awesome spot for a quiet few days or to explore the region, including Mathinna Falls and the Evercreech forest. Top spot

Such a nice quiet place to get away from all the Xmas crowds, lose reception and forget about everything else. Karen was very welcoming and friendly, we are very grateful that she has opened up her property to share with everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful and relaxing, and the river was great for swimming and fishing. Karen is a lovely host and is generous with her knowledge of the area. The sealed road from Fingal is an easy drive and Karen’s directions are very easy to follow.

Another amazing stay at Karen’s beautiful slice of heaven ! my partner and I brought along our 2 dogs and 2 horses and all felt so relaxed and welcome ! Sitting by the beautiful creek relaxing is the perfect way to recharge, and then exploring the local forestry on horse back, as well as checking out all the local fishing spots. Karen is the most wonderful host anyone could ask for, she makes you feel right at home and welcomes all 4 legged fur children along too! Lat 41 south is definitely our home away from home ! we can’t wait to go back !

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely the peace and tranquillity that this property has. Beautiful river and beautiful green paddocks. We had a 30 foot van and we could access the property quite easily.
Karen is the most lovely and accommodating host. What a lovely person and nothing was a hassle for her. She was happy for us to walk around the property, collect firewood, come up to the house for our little boys to see her birds and collect the fresh eggs. Do yourself a favour and come and spend a couple of days here. This was also great access to Ben Lomond National Park which we completed a day trip up to on one of the days we stayed. Another great site that was about a 40 minute drive from Karen’s property. Thank you Karen, we loved that you could share this gorgeous place with us!!!!

This is a very peaceful quiet place .Tha river has abundant fish and has a veriety of different areas to fish .I highly recommend this as a good place to destress.

The place was beautiful. Karen was a kind and helpful host, which made us feel very welcome. Saw a platypus feeding on one of the stream bends. Short trip to Ben Lomond. Karen's place will go on top of our favorites list. Will definitely be hard to beat.

We had a lovely relaxing time at this campsite. It’s large and spacious, with a big open field of lush green grass. There a multiple places along the bubbling river to set up camp, and there is plenty of space for groups to set up together. It’s well maintained, and Karen and her cute pet sidekicks come by to check on campers and make sure they are all ok.
We will note that while we were staying there were a lot of wasps but we didn’t really have any problems with them. The campsite is also right by the road so you get traffic noise on and off during the day. It didn’t detract from our stay though, and we’d certainly like to return in the future!

We had the most amazing time here, we are a family of 4 and the kids had the best time. Lots of space to run around on the freshly mowed grass. And the river that backs onto the property is stunning. Very quiet spot to relax. Karen is very welcoming, we felt right at home. Thank you for having us Karen we loved it.
