We spent the night and it was lovely. Mark let us charge our devices which was very handy, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was our favourite night of our trip.

Mark was a great host, he met us on arrival, showed us the best place to camp with views over the Carlton River. He emphasised that he was there to help if we needed anything during our stay. He even invited us up for a drink on our last night, we all enjoyed the experience. Thanks Mark.

Mark was welcoming and there was plenty of sites to choose from. There is a compostable toilet and a portable toilet. There is a cold and hot (surf style shower).

Mark greeted us on arrival and the cabin was comfortable enough for a one night stay. The portaloo outside the cabin shared by other guests was fairly clean and aside from a few cobwebs and some dust in the cabin it was well appointed for our stay in summer. Only recommendations would be to add some shades or curtains as the windows let in all light and some draft which made it harder to sleep, and a doona. Would likely choose a site next time on our stay as a loo and shower were provided though the cabin was nice shelter from the wind.

A place to get away from the crowds of people you normally run into at a lot of the campgrounds in the area, but you are still close to the action of all tourist sites on the Tasman peninsula for a day trip. We were also able to enjoy the local cafes and swimming beaches of nearby townships.
Hot shower and toilet a bonus.
Note: The property is on a slope, so you will need to make use of the platforms Mark has created. Sleeping in a tent was a bit of a challenge but worth it.

Mark is a kind and well equipped host. The property is beautiful, any nature lover be more than happy. Mark assisted in setting up an appropriate spot for the vehicle I had (campervan) - whilst catering to other set ups around (tents, swags/cars ect).
Solar shower made even better after a day of traveling. Beautiful part of Tassie along the river, can’t recommend this enough.

My friend and I stayed at the 3 sheep cabin for one night. It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The cabin was very cozy and clean, with a lovely view of the valley and rolling hills complete with plenty of sheep. Mark was an awesome host.

Thanks for the great stay, Mark! It was great having the cabin to charge our devices. And there were gravel mounds in place to help get our camper level, making it a comfortable stay.

Mark was lovely and welcoming, and the property provides access to a clean, shared portaloo. The downside is there is no level ground to set up a tent/swag. It was quite expensive for the facility provided.

Beautiful views overlooking Carlton river, great location, close to amazing beaches and in the middle of Port Arthur and Hobart. Can see Mt Wellington from the campsite if the clouds are not hindering your views.
Marks is a friendly and accommodating host.
Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with the description saying it’s levelled, but there are NO levelled sites for campers. The description also says it has a toilet and shower which is also not entirely true (just an FYI as we are self contained so didn’t need it).
If you are looking for more secluded or private spot this isn’t. The host and others living/renting little units were close-by, Although they didn’t bother us, we just simply enjoy being more private in our own time.
Mark has told us his hopes for the camp, as it’s only new hipcamp and we can see a lot of potential in the future.

Had a lovely stay at the 3 sheep farm after a big hike at 3 cape trail, had a much needed shower and dinner with a great view of the Carlton river, great first experience on hip camp. Mark was a wonderful host
