Welcome to Bridgecroft Accommodation – a boutique collection of properties in southern Tasmania. We offer three unique accommodation options in the Coal Valley, overlooking the historic village of Richmond, as well as one property in Port Arthur. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable base to explore the south of the state during an extended stay, or just a couple of nights to enjoy the charm of our historic and unique valley, Bridgecroft is the perfect choice. Each property has been thoughtfully decorated with modern furnishings to complement its individual character. Nearby adventures include: Strolling across the historic Richmond Bridge and along the Coal River banks. Hiking the scenic Brinktop Reserve Track with sweeping valley views. Exploring the Coal River Valley wineries and picturesque country drives. Visiting Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to meet Tasmanian devils, kangaroos, and other native animals up close.

Bridgecroft Cottage

The Cottage is a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom Hamptons inspired accommodation built in 1995. It is in the heart of the Richmond Village and would suit a family or two couples looking to be in the centre of the town. It is about 50 metres from the historic Richmond Bridge. It boasts a full kitchen, dish-washer, wall oven and cook-top. Also included is a combo washer/dryer in one, bathroom with hair-dryer and separate toilet. There is parking on site for 2 vehicles (one undercover). Also on-site is a gas BBQ, free wi-fi and Netflix. Both queen size beds have electric blankets, bedside lamps and extra blankets for colder nights. This is the ideal location to spend a few days exploring Richmond and southern Tasmania.

Bridgecroft House

Bridgecroft House - Spacious family home in the heart of Richmond village - room for the whole family. Home comes with a hot tub, 2 lounge areas, separate dining and kitchen. There is an 8 ball table and some 80's vinyl albums to play. Outdoor has a gas BBQ, wood-fired pizza oven and a huge area with a fire pit and permanent seating for guests and visitors. Parking for up to 6 cars. Located in the heart of the Richmond village, Bridgecroft is a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the town centre. Our family home is situated on almost 2 acres and offers privacy with a quiet country location. With 2 spacious lounges, free wi-fi and Netflix, there is room even for the largest family. We have 4 bedrooms - 3 with queen size beds and 1 with two king singles. Our bathrooms have a separate shower and (one) bath should you need it for small children. Bridgecroft House has a full kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove and electric oven. You are welcome to use food from our pantry during your stay. Our outdoor entertaining area has a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. A separate area has a hot tub heated all year round to 39 degrees. You are welcome to use at no additional charge. Outside we also have a large area with permanent seating and a steel fire pit recycled from a mine on the west coast of Tasmania. There is usually plenty of wood and sticks to keep it going all night or you can bring your own. With quality accommodation for up to eight people, this is the ideal location to base yourself to explore southern Tasmania. We are happy to extend your visit beyond the advertised days, just drop us an email to arrange this. Upgrades and products available upon arrived can be organised.

The Villa is a French provincial themed 2 bedroom/1 bathroom property built in 2020. It is ideal for a family or two couples looking for a quiet and secluded accommodation option. Its a 10 minute stroll via back streets into the village of Richmond. It is located in an old orchard with apple, plum, quince, almond, pear and apricot trees (help yourself to any fruit when in season). It has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, ironing facilities and free wi-fi. It has Netflix, a gas BBQ and four person spa for your enjoyment. Parking for 2 cars is available on-site. The building is 125 meters off Prossers Road - assuring a quiet stay.
