The Gums site was nestled away from the road next to the dam in a quiet area.
The site is on an angle, which we were made aware of, but was no issue when leveling the cararvan.
Rob was welcoming and let the kids feed the free roaming alpaca and sheep.
The river was a short walk, through the fruit trees to the riverside campsites. These are also good options to camp at if you dont have a caravan.
Overall the stay was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend anyone to stay and we would have no hesitation going back.

We loved our spot at The Guns. Excellent location for accessing all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer. Private, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable.

Camped on the hill and had beautiful views of the rolling hills, dam, alpaca and sheep. Closeby to hanhdorf and a quick drive to mt lofty. Greeted by Rob on arrival who was accommodating and very easy communication. Would stay again.

Such a beautiful location. Would have loved to have stayed another couple of nights. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Even allowed our kids to feed the Alpaca's. Would happily stay here again.

Our group of six really enjoyed our stay at Willow Glen. Great communication and flexibility from Rob to help us choose the best site for our group. Plenty of space for our tents and such a peaceful place.

Such a fantastic location- A beautiful, tranquil and secluded campsite alongside the river. We were greeted with stunning scenic views and cute alpacas roaming the grounds. Rob and Nicole are lovely hosts who made us feel right at home.

Beautiful spot, very peaceful and quiet. I had the place to myself which was nice. I was a little early and managed to find Rob, it wasn't an issue, very welcoming. The river is calming and the bird life is abundant, all combined makes for a relaxing camp.

Great spot to go camping with the kids. Rob was very helpful and supplied the kids with some food to feed the alpacas. The boys had a great time.

Direction and communication from host was easy to follow and timely. The camp grounds was beautiful. There were other campers but the sites were far from each other which gave you more of a remote feel. Perfect!

We loved our stay! The space is very open and we saw a couple koalas in the gum trees! Rob was such a lovely host and very accommodating. Such a great campsite!

Great spot to camp, terrific views, and if you like to walk before breakfast, I highly recommend walking downhill into Mylor and have Breacky at the General Store. But be prepared for the walk back, some may find it tiring. Overall we really enjoyed to night.

We enjoyed our overnight at Willow Glen! Waking up to sunrise above the river with alpacas was a great start to a new day. The area we chose to pitch our tent had a gentle slope, nonetheless, we slept well. Thank you Rob and Nicole!

This is a great location for camping, quiet, scenic, exactly how described. This is the best location we’ve camped at so far.
Rob was a great host and very friendly, wouldn’t hesitate to return, kids had a great time and you’re only ten minutes from Hahndorf.

We loved our stay at The Hill. Rob is friendly and approachable and the site was quiet and had beautiful views. We had ample space and appreciated Rob’s map and clear directions for how to get to the site. We would recommend The Hill to anyone looking for a nature break, without hesitation!
