Dreaming of a retreat in the heart of the Adelaide Hills? Bradbury Nature Retreat is located on a stunning 11 acre property that offers glorious uninterrupted views all the way to Aldinga Beach (just ask the host to show you where you can find this secret view). The property is accessed via a private road so it is incredibly quiet and serene. Instead, get lost in the sound of wild-life all around you! Your campsite is surrounded by native trees and scrub so it’s not unusual to have kangaroos, koalas, and native birds like kookaburras and cockatoos stop by for a visit. Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals. We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay. We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed when restrictions aren't in place (firewood available to buy at our wood stall). Experiences around Bradbury: • Our property is 5km from Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, the home to countless Australian native animals and the only place on mainland South Australia where you can see the elusive platypus! • Just a 7-minute drive to both Between the Vines and Deviation Road Winery where you can unwind from a hard week at work with a sophisticated wine and grazing platter whilst surrounded by vineyards and beautiful bushland. • On the main street in Stirling you will find the artisan ice-creamery, chocolate and lolly shop, Hokey Pokey. Our favourite is their house-made ice-cream made with biodynamic dairy and local, seasonal produce! • If you’re looking for somewhere to go for dinner Bradbury isn’t far from the Aldgate Pump Hotel, the Stirling Hotel and the Crafers Hotel, just to name a few. • For the plant lovers, Tupelo Grove Nursery is a 7-minute drive away in the outskirts of Mylor. This family-owned nursery is a must see and is known to be the go to place for harder to find, unique plants!Bradbury Nature Retreat campsite has almost 2000 sq feet of flat space for campers to set up their tents or RV on. Bradbury is on the outskirts of Longwood and Mylor, and a very short drive to the shops and cafes of Stirling and Aldgate. It’s just 10 minutes to the south-eastern freeway for an easy city commute. Bradbury Nature Retreat campsite has almost 2000 sq feet of flat space for campers to set up their tents or RV on. You are surrounded by native trees and scrub with a fruit orchard behind you where you can see the chickens roaming daily, scratching around for bugs and worms. All campers to bring their own camper toilet and dispose of their own waste upon leaving. Pets allowed but must be kept on a leash when on the property due to roaming livestock, 1 pet cat and 1 pet dog. We are located on a private road that is perfect for going on a peaceful morning stroll or even mountain biking. We had a great time! The spot was nice and flat looking out into the trees. Georgie is a fantastic host, we would definitely go again!

Beautiful slice of paradise. Very relaxing, nice flat space, perfect for a caravan. Georgie was a wonderful host. So friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! We will be back.

Nice spot for a family camp

Bradbury Nature Retreat
Large, flat and even ground perfect for our family tents. The entire area is enclosed with sheep fence, great if you have dogs (or kids) who like to wander. There is a good sized fire pit. Area is peaceful and very quiet. The owner Georgie’s house is around 60m away which frankly is better than most camp grounds. Georgie and family were very warm and welcoming but respected our space and privacy. The road leading to the property is nice for a stroll, especially if you have dogs. Georgie gifted us a delightful bouquet of flowers which was very sweet. Georgie was responsive to our queries prior to arrival and very helpful and friendly.

Perfect spot, great view of the sky. Very large area to your self or to share with some other friends. Good value firewood it you need it.. frendly host whi didn't mine out late check in. Fenced in area, don't have to worrie about the dog or kids going too far. Great spot to bee to explore the area

Georgie and Georgie's property exceeded all expectations. A truly beautiful and peaceful retreat. Whether you're looking for action or simply a place to slow down, this property offers it all. If you are looking for action it's close to all of the Adelaide Hills attractions and wineries, you can explore the pristine landscape on the property on foot or just take in the tranquility and stay by the campfire and relax. Georgie’s hospitality was exceptional—attentive to your needs while also allowing you freedom, creating the perfect balance for a place to breathe and unwind. It's an ideal escape that you don't have to travel miles for and we had an amazing weekend. Thank you Georgie, Amanda & Phil

We took six kids to camp on Georgie's Hipcamp. We had a wonderful time out in the sunshine; climbing trees, collecting sticks and playing with the farm animals. Georgie was very friendly and generous with her time. We would happily return again.

Bradbury Nature Retreat
Georgie was an excellent host, warm and welcoming. The block was clean, level and a lovely extension of the small family farm. Pigs, chickens, a funny llama warmed the camp with their gentle farmyard sounds and roos and even a deer visited the nights I was there. The block was very close to the city on a pretty and private road. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again when I am in Adelaide.

It is a lovely quiet spot....I only stayed overnight and arrived late but Georgie was most appreciative and accommodating and interesting......hope to go back one day

Bradbury Nature Retreat
Bradbury farm was fabulous for us. Our son loved feeding the sheep & collecting eggs, & our dog befriended the very friendly pig! The spot is tranquil & relaxed, & Georgie is a wonderful host, very generous with her time & attention, & simply a beautiful soul. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Georgie!

Leon and I absolutely loved our stay at Georgies block retreat! The bliss of peace and looking at the stars on the night sky was beautiful! Georgie was an amazing host, checked I to make sure everything was all good during our stay and gave us a very lovely flower bunch from her own garden on our last day 😊

Paradise in the Adelaide Hills

What a beautiful camp spot, with only one booking at a time we were assured space, peace and privacy. The camp is a beautifully maintained, fenced and gated paddock perched on a hillside on Georgie’s property surrounded by native plants and trees on a private road with virtually no traffic. We only noticed maybe 2 cars pass in the 4 days we were there. The surface was level and plenty of space to either set up under shade or in the sun. There is a fire pit and the option to purchase firewood and kindling. The drive in is accessible and it was easy to manoeuvre our 6metre pop top into position. Georgie and family are lovely people and wonderful hosts. The camp is perfectly positioned in the Adelaide hills region to explore the local towns and wineries and close enough to the highway for a quick drive into the CBD, a 10 minute drive will take you into town with a selection of boutique shops, cafes and the hotel where we enjoyed a delicious meal in lovely surroundings. We found it to be the perfect base for us to get around and see plenty on our first trip to South Australia while retaining the feeling of being away from it all. We fell in love with it and will definitely be back at some point to visit both the region and Georgies Hipcamp.

What a little gem. Georgie was so welcoming. She showed my 3 kids around her farm and let them feed the sheep and alpaca. Gloria the pig was very cute too! I loved the posy of flowers Georgie gifted us. I carefully tucked it into a safe spot in the caravan so we can continue to travel enjoy it for a few days. We had a restful night and went for a beautiful walk down the pretty bushland road in the morning. Georgie recommended an organic cafe in Stirling, so we visited that too and it was perfect for some yummy smoothies and lattes. I will definitely suggest this camp to others. Thanks Georgie! Bradbury Nature Retreat
Such a beautiful spot, so clean and spacious. Lots of animals, including a very friendly pig! Cheap bags of firewood and kindling to help yourself to. Georgie the host was so lovely, she came and met us on arrival to show us the camping area and gifted us a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful flat grassy area to pitch a tent or park your camper/caravan. Georgie was extremely welcoming to our family and the kids had a ball playing with the chickens and other animals as well as running around the property. We had a fire place and enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. Definitely recommend!

Bradbury Nature Retreat
Our 2nd stay at Bradbury retreat and won't be our last, great peaceful getaway close to home for weekends of whatever takes your fancy. This weekend we chose to stay on the property the whole time for country serenity and solitude. Our dogs love it too 😍

We absolutely loved our stay at Bradbury Retreat. Georgia is an outstanding host - asked us for an ETA so that she could meet us at the gate (even though it was raining) and was so welcoming. The site is a great size and it was lovely to be serenaded by all types of bird life and we also had a Koala strolling past. Quiet and peaceful with little to no passing traffic as it’s down a no through road Close to Stirling and many other good spots on the Adelaide Hills Logs, kindle and pasteurised eggs available from Georgias chickens Georgia went above and beyond and even gave us a beautiful posie of fresh flowers before we left Will definitely be back
