Another awesome stay at Woombye. Love the additions of the cabana and shelter, kept us nice and dry in the monster storm that came through.

Our stay was absolutely lovely! Great communication, a beautiful and peaceful location, and so many thoughtful details like mozzie repellent, candles, hammocks etc. It was comfortable, relaxing, and exceeded our expectations. Jacqueline was so kind and helpful — we’d love to come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at WRE. Although we decided to leave earlier due to storms, the one day and night gave us a taste of how before this place was, rainforest was just so beautiful and it was so secluded, we loved having it all to ourselves and our dogs loved the freedom to explore.
Jacqui was also a fantastic host, making us feel very comfortable and also there to check in to make sure we were ok after the storm. Thanks so much Jacqui, it was a privilege to stay at your property, we look forward to coming back soon 🤗

Great stay. Close to Kondilla Falls and Montville.
We are usually national park campers, so it was very nice to have your own spot, completely private - a luxury I never knew I needed.
The creek is tiny, not swimmable (while we were there) but pretty nonetheless. Little extras that we aren’t used to having at a camp ground, like chairs, hammocks, an undercover area, tables and tea!

Woombye Rainforest Escape is our new favourite Hipcamp.
What a magnificent property.
The best things in our opinion are it's isolation, location, serenity, and the creek that runs alongside the camp which is fed by several (seasonal) waterfalls.
Jacqui has clearly put a lot of time, effort and expense into making this campsite (and it's access) something that is extremely enjoyable.
We will certainly be going back again.

I can’t say enough good things about this campsite! From the moment I booked, Jacqui was incredibly responsive—quick to answer questions, super friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience.
The site itself was absolutely stunning—tucked away in a cool, lush rainforest setting that felt like a true retreat. Everything was beautifully set up when I arrived, from the sign posted drive in, to the thoughtfully placed Gazebo area and cozy seating spaces that blended right into the natural surroundings. You can really tell a lot of care and attention went into every detail.
It was peaceful, private, and so refreshing to be surrounded by towering trees, birdsong, and the sounds of nature. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and serene escape - yet minutes from Maroochydore!

Jacqui was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to all contact. The site was so quiet with a beautiful little creek running behind our tent. Although it had been dry, we had a great time rock hopping and exploring our way up between rock pools. We were surprised to have cushions and hammocks as well as the fire pits all set up for us. We also loved the undercover table and solar mood lighting that came on in the evening. Such a lovely peaceful place. I highly recommend and we will be back. ps the dog loved it as well!

A wonderfully tranquil setting set well back into the property and away from the road.
Beautifully presented and well set up with some creature comforts ☺️
Our 2 dogs had a lovely time exploring the bushes and creek with freedom to roam.
Plenty of areas of shade and good areas to capture the sun if you have solar panel or sheet.
Positioned perfectly for a ½ day trip to Montville and the Eumundi markets.
Highly recommend this property

We had a great stay. Such a beautiful spot that was peaceful and secluded. Spent only 1 night, but definitely will stay again. Access road is superbly maintained and camp site is flat and has great amenities. Close to some great towns with plenty to see and do. The inclusions of a fire pit, supplies and undercover area
made for an easy trip. Great for first time campers.

A wonderful experience for my husband and I and our three dogs. Well Maintained driveway leading to a beautiful flat camping spot with lots of room and hidey holes to explore. A real credit to the hosts keeping this spot so surprisingly comfortable relaxed and a very loved property.

Wow...wow...wow. This place is AMAZING.!!! We loved the absolute privacy and serenity of this place. It is one site on the creek and only 4 minute walk to the waterfall. So many beautiful tracks and creeks....and Jacqui the host goes above and beyond with all her personal touches. We hadn't even left the site and we re-booked. This site won Hipcamp award for 2025 and we can see why. This was an amazing experience.

First hipcamp we have been to and don't think we will find another that will beat it. Absolutely amazing! We were blown away with everything about this camp, tranquilly, seclusivenous and amenities. Highly recommend this to all. Not sure if our dog or young girls loved it more but we all had the best time and will be back again!

What an absolute hidden gem! 🌿 We stayed at the Woombye Rainforest Escape and it was nothing short of magical. The campsite was beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning rainforest – the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. ⛺️✨
Our hosts were welcoming and made sure everything was easy and stress-free. We loved sitting by the fire, listening to the sounds of nature, and truly switching off from the busy world. 💕
If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect, and make special memories, I can’t recommend this spot highly enough. We’ll definitely be back! 🙌

It bucketed down for two days and still did not make a dint in our most wonderful weekend. We have camped in many places over the years and this one takes the prize as the best. It is beautiful, solitary and very off-lead dog friendly. We re-booked the minute we got home.

It was a very private location given the proximity to Nambour etc. Very quiet with a lot of bird life. The rainforest made stargazing an unexpected pastime. The facilities were excellent and the host very friendly and helpful. Would go back again with family or friends.

AMAZING! I took my partner here for her first ever camping experience & it did not disappoint! Jacqui kept in contact right up until the afternoon of our arrival & checked on departure day just to make sure we were ok after a little wet weather - host efforts couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Location is beautiful. Close to a little running creek, surrounded by trees & the sounds of nature. The care package, wood stock, hammocks & all the little additional camping items provided made our stay beyond incredible. We star gazed, cooked over the fires & enjoyed relaxing & unwinding. We regretted not booking a longer stay & drove all the way home hoping we managed to leave this gorgeous location exactly how it was set up by Jacqui for our arrival … 10/10, definitely visiting again!

This is a very special place!
A beautiful forest setting, with a nice open grass clearing, fireplaces, a stream of fresh water nearby and plenty of spaces and forest to for the kids and dogs to explore. There were crates with complementary essentials, even marshmallows & tongs! They provided water, tables, chairs, hammocks and even n small sheltered area to escape a drizzle.
It is brilliantly quiet, peaceful and secluded - the whole place to oneself.

Such a gorgeous property! Super secluded with just the sounds of the creek and birds around you. Lots of swimming spots if you want a refreshing swim. Jacqueline puts in such effort into keeping the grounds well kept, and makes you feel so comfortable with all the extra little comforts supplied. Thank you for hosting us!

Awesome place, tucked away in the forest. large open area,with a small gazebo, table and even wood for a fire was supplied,along with fire lighters etc and a welcoming pack of marshmallows... however, dont eat the small packets of apple explosion,which are actually soap.. (i know, don't ask).even a small water tank is there too, which we used to wash up... Jacqueline is very friendly and accommodating and we appreciated the small touches, and even the obvious landscape work that has been done on this land... will definitely return...😁

Wow, that are the only words to say for this camping site. A perfect private spot to have some rest. We stayed for 2 nights and was incredible. Definitely we will be coming back. Jacqui was the best too. Thank you so mucho for everything.

Beautiful, peaceful site with its own creek and waterfall. We had a wonderful weekend exploring with our border collie despite the wet weather. Jacqui was an excellent communicator and very welcoming. Will be back on a hopefully drier weekend!
