Wonderland 4WD Bushcamp is located 15 minutes from Maleny in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Our sites are secluded, private, and rustic. If you truly want to "get away from it all," you've found the place! Remember, this is just the property description. PLEASE READ THE SITE DESCRIPTION FOR THE SITE YOU ARE BOOKING BEFORE MAKING ANY REQUESTS. ALL VEHICLES ON EVERY BOOKING MUST BE CAPABLE OF REACHING THE SITE. Due to the nature of our access tracks, all campers are met via a meet-and-greet at every opportunity. Because of this, we have a two-night minimum stay requirement for The Gun Range and The Summit. Please DO NOT ASK if we will make an exception for your group to stay only one night. Friendly miniature Galloway cattle freely roam the property here. You may see us driving around in our Jeep, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. Other than that, our hope is that you don't see anyone but the local wildlife.

The Summit is a completely private campsite surrounded by towering gum trees, providing ample shade and offering incredible, uninterrupted views of the sun. In the morning, and particularly in spring and autumn, campers often wake up above the clouds. The Maleny area is also renowned for its night sky photography and is set to become a rare night sky reserve. This spot is perfect for anyone looking to escape to nature. ​You'll have a private bush toilet and a gravity-fed rainwater tank for washing up and putting out fires. ​The track to this site is strictly for well-equipped 4WDs, Absolutely no stock vehicles! It's a very steep, rocky, and often muddy mountain track that's not for stock vehicles. Please ensure that your crew will ARRIVE TOGETHER, BEFORE DARK 🙏 and you MUST air down. NO TRAILERS, no exceptions! MINIMUM TWO-NIGHT STAY. Please don't ask if we will make an exception for your group to stay only one night. As the majority of booking requests that come through are from people who drive stock vehicles. You MUST detail all vehicles and modifications, eg, Lift size tyre size and type, winch or not? And acknowledge that you've read and understood this description fully before requesting a booking. If you don't, we'll assume you haven't read this description and may not be capable enough to reach the site. We will remind you once, and give you an hour os so to respond then your booking will be denied. You can rebook once you've read this description. CHECK THE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR ELAMAN CREEK. DRY CONDITIONS REQUIREMENTS: 2" LIFT 32s with good tread (ATs minimum) Rear locker or LSD Winch recommended WET CONDITIONS REQUIREMENTS: 2" Lift 33" Mud Tyres with GOOD TREAD Twin locked! Winch (please don't tear up our track) 🙏 A sense of adventure 😉 We have a flexible cancellation policy allowing you to cancel 24h before the start of your booking, so please keep a close eye on the weather for Elaman Creek, 4552, on the days leading up to your stay. ​Also, please just make sure your fire is COLD TO THE TOUCH before leaving, there is a $100 fine for fires left hot. Cattle will step on hot coals. It's a bit of an adventure to get to the top, but the reward is well worth it. Just ask our many, multiple repeat visitors 😀

The Gun Range is a completely private and secluded campsite surrounded by towering gum trees. This site offers a protected feel with a beautiful valley view to the west. It's a basic, no-amenities site with a large firepit—perfect for you and your mates to enjoy. The track to this site is strictly for well-equipped 4WDs, absolutely no stock vehicles! It's a very steep, rocky, and often muddy mountain track that's not for stock vehicles. Please ensure that your crew will ARRIVE TOGETHER, BEFORE DARK 🙏 and you MUST air down. The summit was absolutely beautiful, highest point in the area with stunning views and no one else around. Jeremy was super helpful with everything, including giving advice on the trails up to the site, I’ll definitely be back

We had the best time camping at The Summit and Jeremy and Charmaine were fantastic hosts! Tricky to get to and requiring a solid lifted 4WD, but well worth the effort for the peace. We will be returning in the near future for sure :)

Was an awesome little get away with some challenging 4wding. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone keen to give their 4wd rig a challenge and enjoy a secluded camp site with a nice view :)

Great location for a weekend getaway. Easy place to relax and do nothing for a few days. Jeremy was fantastic and super helpful. Communication was great and nothing was an issue. Highly recommend these guys as hosts and highly recommend their property.

Great spot to chill for a few days. Rewarding 4wd track up to the camp site. Camp area clean of rubbish and cig butts. Owner was very prompt in replying through app & text . Quiet and friendly cows. Owner was very nice in person and didn't give any bad vibes.

The view from the Summit was amazing, well worth the drive! The road to get up there is no joke so make sure you are comfortable driving a very steep and rocky track. Jeremy was very friendly and helpful, thanks again for having us!

Hosts were very friendly and easy to talk to. The access track was a fun little challenge in the rain but rewarding once you get to the camp spots! Great view and very calm and peaceful. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful place - stayed at the riverside spot and got the place to ourselves. We came here because we knew it would rain that weekend but still wanted to get away. Would absolutely recommend for a rainy day camping trip away!

Absolutely amazing property with awesome views! Fantastic hosts and definitely worth the 4wd to the top! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us! Awesomely kept and maintained areas! Photos dont do it justice! One of new favourite spots! So peaceful, private and quiet! Definitely didnt want to leave!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The site was very private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views – the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful getaway.

Great camping spot for 4wd lovers the Ridge camp sites are alot of fun to get to, definitely are 4wd tracks as stated. property can be challenging in wet forget about getting to the top camp sites unless you have a winch and atleast a rear locker. There's even a waterfall close by. Highly recommend.

The property is a beautiful spot to too far away if you wanted to head to town for dinner, but serine enough (no car noises just the birds) to stay put and do nothing. Will camp here again. Jeremy & Charmaine were very great hosts.

The track up was fun, the winch came in handy in a few parts. Well worth it in the end, peaceful and private campsites, well maintained and a great firepit provided. Views were incredible, loved being above the clouds, definitely will return again.

The wonderland 4wd Creek Camp was an absolutely gorgeous spot. There were numerous swimming spots along the creek each with its unique setting. The camp area is nice and secluded, great for privacy. The hosts were super lovely the entire time. Helping us out and very responsive to our messages the entire stay. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing camp spot, hard to beat. Climb up is well worth it and I’d highly recommend if you want to add some challenging 4WDing to your camping adventure. Campsite has everything you need, plenty of space and feels very private. View is amazing, the sun sets directly through the clearing and sunrise was beautiful with mist in the valleys and sun shining on the clouds. As others have said take the 4WD requirements seriously, there’s a couple of spots that need careful wheel placement, but I really enjoyed the drive up. Jeremy and Charmaine were great to deal with and very helpful. Will definitely aim to be back.

This spot is epic! Jeremy and Charmaine are incredibly helpful and lovely. Their cows are so friendly. The Summit is next level. It’s incredibly beautiful. Take the 4WD requirements seriously, and you’ll have the most wonderful time.

Great spot to get away for a couple of days. The view is definitely worth the wheel to the top. There’s only 1 spot we came across on the way up that would give some people trouble. Nothing too crazy just be careful where you have your wheel placement and can drive up with relative ease.

Had a great time at 4wd wonderland! Camped at the creek site, the site, the creek and the trails surrounding are beautiful!, went for a hike up the creek/waterfalls with our kelpie found some nice swimming holes to cool off in along the way. made our way back to camp and went for an afternoon stroll up the 4wd tracks to the next sight along where we were greated with some nice views!, and that’s not even the top site ‘the summit’ the stock hilux may need a few modifications to get up there! 😂, if you are after a challenging 4wd track with views to make it all worth it definitely head up to the top sites!, staying creekside for us with the moo cows though was plenty in itself made a few cow friends and got to watch them playing around all day. 10/10 would recommend the hosts are lovely also! we will be back 👌
