Always enjoy camping at wallaby downs. Care takers Dave and Sharon, are loverly ppl always welcoming.
Owners Dan & Renee never disappoint. Wallaby’s run free, camp fires aloud. My grandson enjoys it every time as they have swings flying fox trampoline & plenty of space for kids to ride push bikes.
Added bonus of ammenities such as a hot shower, and much more. Walking the grounds in search of kindling for the fire pit is always fun way to explore. Our dog enjoys her stay.

We had a great time, it was quiet the amenities are excellent for a bush camping experience. My littlest loved the play equipment to play on we had a great weekend away.

Always super hospitable and lovely clean facilities. Super picturesque and the kids always have fun! Whether it's racing RC cars, riding bikes or just chilling by the fire it's a lovely weekend getaway.

Dave and Sharon upon arrival always welcoming, love the camping grounds, plenty of fun for my grandson, trampoline swings flying fox he enjoyed himself a lot.
And the peace and quiet is loverly. Surrounding Bushland we got an occasional wallaby or kangaroo.

Loved camping at Wallaby Downs! Super friendly hosts, excellent facilities for kids, and lovely bathroom facilities. Variety in campsites, lovely rural feel with horses cows and sheep at neighbouring properties. Short walk to the dam if you want to kayak etc.

Wallaby downs has stunning views, wonderful hosts and there’s plenty for younger children to do! My son said it was the best camping trip he’s ever had. There is a short drive to the dam and you have to carry kayaks down from the car. The shed has a toilet and shower which is very clean. We will definitely be back!

This is just a great place to camp. So relaxing and quiet with awesome views. The kids loved riding their motorbike and playing on the swings and zip line. Dan was such a good host and accommodating to our needs. Will definitely plan another trip in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal place to stay!! Dan and Renee are so…. Lovely and welcoming!! Our son had an amazing time, fishing, motorbiking and playing totem tennis, flying fox and exploring the bush land near by. Thank you so much for having us Dan and Renee we will definitely be back. Wallaby Downs is a credit to you both and we can’t wait for what the future holds for Wallaby Downs!! Just an FYI for other travelers. We have a 9.5M van being towed by a Chevy and we had no issues accessing the property and Dan was extremely accommodating with where we were allowed to park up. Nothing was a drama with the hosts which just made our time here even more relaxing and amazing!!

We loved our three nights at Wallaby Downs. Dan is a great host, always willing to help with any issues that may arise. We cannot recommend Wallaby Downs enough, we will definitely make time to go back. Five stars

Perfect for the young kids. Also loved there was a shower and toilet for the less adventurous of us. Daniel was very hospitable and made sure we were looked after. Will definitely be back!!

It was a great two nights camp with family and friends. The place is so serene, very close to the mountains, hence wallabies are present. It was a great stay despite the rain. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. I Highly recommend this place if you want to relax and just be at peace. Huge space for kids to explore and play. The amenities are superb, hot showers, clean toilet, swings, and a mini zipline. You'll get everything in one place.

Limited sites, would only suit 1 to 2 caravans, single combined toilet / shower makes it difficult for free access. Steep terrain only suits small van.

The place lives up to its name - there were wallabies everywhere! Lovely view from the site as we were fortunately the only campers on the lower level. Shared bathroom and camp kitchen were awesome! Tight, windy road to the place with a tight entrance to the property for our rig. Communal firepit with wood supplied and WiFi provided as no mobile signal.

Great hosts and caretakers, friendly and always helpful. It was so nice having a hot shower and toilet while camping, made the whole experience so much more comfortable. Different camping places to choose from. The kids had an absolute blast on the zip line and loved riding their motorbikes around the property. A beautiful, peaceful spot with plenty of space to enjoy. Also close to Middle Creek Dam for swimming

What a lovely view across the valley and dam.
We had a lovely Easter weekend at Wallaby Downs. Dan and Renee are great, very hospitable hosts and their facilities are top notch.
Only a short drive from Mackay too, which was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend staying at Wallaby Downs. Thanks guys. We wish you all the best.
