A short 2.5 hours from Brisbane and nestled in the magical Sunshine Coast Hinterland, our property is surrounded by Conondale National Park. Featuring 60 acres of lush rainforest, soft grass, a running creek and lots of wildlife, we are working towards our important vision of regeneration, natural building and traditional organic farming. Booloumba Creek runs along the boundary and has crystal clear waters with a magical rainbow of coloured rocks in the creek. The property is literally at the end of the road, surrounded by the national park and rainforest, which is normally only accessible by 4WD, camping at our property gives you access to a beautiful park and walks which may otherwise be inaccessible. We have 4 sites but only accept one booking at a time perfect for just one tent and a private getaway or for groups of families and friends. Message to discuss any special group needs including catering or how to book a group into multiple sites. If you want to just arrive and immediately relax, in addition to the tents already set up we can also provide a Welcome meal for groups of 6 or more or a breakfast/dinner package. Please message for details and availability. We are a 10 minute drive from the township of Kenilworth where you’ll be able to pick up supplies for your holiday. The town is noted for its bakery with donuts, the Kenilworth Dairy and has a growing market on Saturday mornings. The famous Eumundi Markets are 45 minutes away and open on Wednesday and Saturdays. We love celebrating food and a healthy life, and inviting people to enjoy our space is one step, with the vision for the accommodation to support events and education based around food, plant medicine, natural building and celebrating connections with friends, family and nature.

Are you keen to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? We are here to provide you with that great escape where you will be nestled in the rainforest, surrounded by the serendipities of the wilderness and the crystal clear waters of Booloumba Creek. Ubuntu Living is here to offer you a space where you can take a deep breath of fresh air, ground yourself and reconnect to selfyou’re your loved ones. Ubuntu Glamping for Groups specialises in group bookings of up to 12 guests. We offer four glamping tents that can accommodate up to three adults per tent, or two adults and two kids. Of course couples are most welcome too. The glamping tents are all located close, next to each other allowing you reconnect with your kin. Please let us know if you have specific needs for your special family or group glamping getaway. We've got you covered for your basic camping needs so you can spend your time enjoying your time in nature and connecting with your loved ones. All you need to bring is your personal items and your food. Guests have access to a combination of non-purified creek and rain water is available from a tap, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Complementary tea and coffee is provided. There is access to toilet and shower amenities (the shower is cold water and most refreshing on humid days). In the kitchen you will have access to cookware, dishware and cutlery. There is a sink for washing dishes and a grill over the firepit for cooking. Firewood is provided with your booking. For the moon lovers, sunrise watchers, stargazers and Chi activators, a walk up the hill on the farm will offer a stunning 270 degree views of the rolling hills of the Mary Valley. To access the property low clearance vehicles not recommended but some 2WD are ok. If you’re unsure about your vehicle please message us for a chat. Proceeds from your stay will give us the opportunity to create our dream for an organic food forest and a healing space for those who need it with future plans for alternative healing modalities. Great to relax and recharge

Such a lovely location to connect with nature and family and friends. Michael and Kagi have provided a great setting to just relax and recharge. It’s walking distance to the Conondale national park with fabulous crystal clear swimming holes everywhere to explore. The tents are very spacious and the cooking facilities have everything you need. Just pack some clothes and food and you’ll have a great time!

Peaceful and tranquil

Surrounded by mountains, wildlife, a flowing creek and a wonderful permaculture garden - what more could you ask for! The hosts, Kagi & Michael were super accomodating and provided several exploring options in the beautiful National Park. The energy from nature, amplified by the love poured into the property by Kagi & Michael, made for a truly healing and magical experience. Having spent the weekend solo, I felt extremely safe and privacy maintained at all times. I couldn’t think of a better way to have spent my 30th birthday weekend! Thank you Ubuntu for the beautiful experience.

The hosts are absolutely lovely - and cook a mean curry! The location is also great, really close to Kenilworth and their famous doughnuts, and to the Eumundi markets. It is quite expensive though - the campsite is quite small, and next to a loud, busy road. The swimming hole is on the other side of the road, and the creek where the kids went exploring is right next to the road, and so they were visible to all drivers passing by/potentially easily squished. The camp site is very well stocked for cooking. Bring your own torches (one solar lantern is provided per tent, but is not strong enough for reading etc), lighters for fires, extra blankets etc. As it is quite basic, it does not quite fit the higher "glamping" fee/description (but with a few more touches, it could!).

Clear communication. Super friendly hosts. Incredible feast (we purchased the meal option). Definitely recommend hosts and site. Beautiful private swimming hole in walking distance.

The Bell Tent was spacious and tidy. A truly escape place. Kagi and Michael were ready to help, nice and friendly. Although the weather was cloudy and lightly rainy, we still had a good time.

Very good camping spot in terms of facilities and space Perfect for large group of people It was a shame the hot shower system broke on the first day and we had to shower with very cold water but other than that everything was good The host was very attentive Overall i recommend this place

My husband and i including our 5 and 3 year olds were so upset to leave Michael and Kagi's beautiful home. It was the best stay we have had on the Sunshine Coast, never mind the comfortable clean glamping spot with its amazing views and the sounds of the creek that we were presented with, all our senses were awakened including our taste buds from Kagi's beautiful food that we harvested from her garden, my kids got to experience life in nature, including an opportunity to see where our food comes from. Kagi gave them the opportunity to harvest mushrooms, ginger, cherry tomatoes, tumeric and many other different varieties of food plus we also got to take them home. Ubuntu Living was perfect and we will most definitely be booking here anytime we are on the Sunshine Coast.

Our family had a very relaxing camp on Kagi’s land. Loved how close a walk it was to Conondale National Park and how private it was having the site to ourselves. It was the camping experience with easy access to all the amenities we were after. Will definitely come again!

What a wonderful little oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night get away. The property had everything we could have hoped for and easy access to the National Parks for walks. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Relaxation Station

My partner and I stayed Easter long weekend, sharing the site with another family, and we had a lovely time. We had some nice wholesome chats with Kagi and Michael, and enjoyed hearing about their vision for the property. The bell tent was comfortable and the site was nice and shady all day, and the facilities were great too. We enjoyed cooking over the open fire and sitting around the fireplace listening to the water flowing down the creek at night (and waking up to the sound of water also). The bird life there was great to watch, as were the kangaroo's. The nearby swimming hole was lush as, crystal clear water - we spent a lot of time there!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Ubuntu Eco- glamping . It was our first camping experience & we thoroughly enjoyed. The views of night sky & mountains are amazing. It really felt like sleeping in the heart of nature. Thanks to Kagi & Michael for such a unique experience.

I had the most amazing stay at Ubuntu Living! One of the best Hipcamp experiences I've ever had. I loved everything about this place. Kagi and Michael thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. I loved the secluded crystal creek so close to the property. I also loved the huge fire pit and the big deck for cooking. It was so lovely getting to know Kagi and Michael and learn about their vision for the property and the organic produce they are are growing. We also took part in a coffee ceremony with the family, it was so cool to have Kagi share her cultural traditions with us. This site is perfect for a group and I recommend staying a few nights! It's super close to Kenilworth and other waterfalls so there is plenty to do. Thank you so much Kagi and Michael for such a beautiful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Ubuntu Living. The wonderful hospitality of Kagi and Michael made us feel like we were at home with nature. The tent and outdoor kitchen area are super comfortable and convenient with everything you need. We loved swimming in the crystal clear creek on the property and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. It was especially great to learn about the many different herbs, fruits and vegetables that are growing on the property, and sampling them fresh for dinner. We are not usually campers but we really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back.
