Just 10 minutes north of Tully and 15 minutes to the beautiful Mission Beach, we are close to the highway so traveler’s can rest and enjoy our views, this peaceful rainforest retreat is the perfect base for your next adventure. Camp sites are located around the dam and waterfall with views of the Tully mountains and Tully town with the mill stacks in the far distance. Come and enjoy our peaceful spot. It is a 5 minute drive to Alligators Nest which is the local swimming hole with crystal clear water but with no alligators, or try our local Feluga Pub for a coldie or a great pub meal a few minutes up the road. Or why not check out the great little town of Tully and that giant gumboot. So come breathe in the fresh air and wake up the sounds of our beautiful bush birds. Fire wood available for a small fee. Please take all rubbish with you on departure.

Very private camp, Guests are advised to be fully self contained, water tap hook up for caravans and rv’s, this site has a lot of shade so not the best for solar unless you have a cord and solar blanket, camp site has a fire pit provided. Along the edge of the rainforest is a walking track around the dam for you to enjoy nature. Or just simply enjoy a swim. Toilet and shower is in the large green shed if you need it, crate of fire wood are available for small fee. It’s our dry season atm so water levels are on the lower level which may impact the waterfall, however still running. No pets as it a council requirement due to wildlife. Please take all your rubbish with you on departure.

Over looking our lovely dam is a gravel and grass space with a water tap hookup, Guests are advised to be fully self contained, camp site also has a fire pit. Along the edge of the rainforest is a walking track around the dam for you to enjoy nature. Or simply enjoy a swim, Tommy the turtle 🐢 comes to visit on dust when the camper fire is burning he likes to make his presence known. Please note there may be another group visible at the end of the dam. Toilet and shower are in the large green shed if you need it, crate of fire wood are available for small fee. Beautiful campsite and lovely owner. I had originally booked site 5 thinking I couldn’t reach site 3 (with waterfall) as I travel with a campervan and not a 4x4, but with the weather being dry and the site being free, Sheree offered me to camp there instead. Stunning very private spot, I LOVED it and had to drag myself to check-out! Site 5 would have been lovely as well anyway! Cute amenities area too. I recommend 100%.

Site 4 The View
Yet again, we had an amazing stay, albeit a wet one thanks to the season! Beautiful views, complimented by exceptional service, with a great chat and a smile. We stayed at Site 4 - The View, as it suited our DMAX and canopy perfectly, and allowed us to use the toilet and shower in a mere 20 steps. We strolled down to the creek, stood under the waterfall, and enjoyed a bevvy down there, before coming back up to our site for sunset. We got to meet Jacko, the resident pup, and the two beautiful horses, Hiccup and Sweets. Site 4 offers a large space, perfect for any kind of camping, or even a bigger group. Arms reach of the amenities, and breathtaking views.

We loved our stay at Tully Mountain View’s- sadly the weather was not on our side and we had to cut our stay short. The location of Dam site one was beautiful- private, clean, and a gorgeous outlook over the dam. We got a little break in the weather and enjoyed the fire pit on the edge of the Dam. Sheree was a lovely host and we look forward to staying again at the lovely campsite

Well maintained and peaceful camp sites. Amazing views of the region, ideally located to explore the region. Close to swimming hole, pub and town for supplies. One of our favourite camp sites in FNQ

We stayed on the powered site which was right next to the toilet and shower. Sheree was so friendly and welcoming, and directed us to a lovely work around her land, its a beautiful location and the cows and horses were a bonus!

We stayed at site 4: The Views. Absolutely perfect with 2 little kids. They loved the horses being so close and it was an easy and relaxing sight for us. Sheree is so welcoming and gave us some great places to explore the area! I’m still amazed this is in her backyard!

This place was incredible! Sheree and Jacko the dog were so friendly, as were the little turtles that came to say hi to us! We initially booked Site 3 - The Waterfall but Sheree was so kind and messaged to say the water was low due to the lack of rain recently and gave us the option to move sites. We moved to Site 1 - The Dam…. And WOW! It was stunning! My kids loved playing in the water and it was so tranquil. We got some firewood and sat out admiring the sky which was incredible. We really wish we could’ve stayed longer here. Massively recommend this beautiful place and wouldn’t hesitate to return one day!

The area was amazing, was lovely waking sleeping under the stars and waking up to the sound of nature. The areas are well looked after, and the visits from the farm animals every now and again was pleasant too. Will be visiting again in the future to witness the waterfall on site 3, if the spot isn’t already taken

Awesome spot with great views, only ones on the site that night. Showers clean and close to top pitches, owner Cherie very friendly. Had Sweet the horse in the field next to us and she was a week overdue, hoping she’s got a healthy foal!

We enjoyed the privacy of Site 3. We reversed out camper trailer in and there was sufficient room to open our awning. The convenience of the shower and toilet at the shed was an added bonus. We also enjoyed the short but well maintained walking track.

Site 1 at Tully Mountain View was pure paradise. It’s beautifully private, nestled in a lush tropical oasis with the water literally at your doorstep — perfect for a peaceful morning coffee or an afternoon swim. The surroundings were serene, full of birdsong and stunning mountain views. Sheree, our host, was exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for tranquility, natural beauty, and a truly relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Loved camping at this site, beautiful scenery with lots of options for swimming nearby. Host and other guest were very welcoming and definitely added charm to the place along with the friendly horses, jacko the jack russel and the friendly cat. Amenities were very nice and well maintained, only a short walk from the site. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning in the later years. Thank you so much for having us Sheree!!
