QUIET, and NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. 7 camp sites to cater for a relaxing self contained getaway. The beach track has good 4WD access and is very quiet with secluded private camp sites along the track. Group site is set back 50m from the beach and can only be booked by 1 group at a time. It is a large flat area suitable for those traveling with friends. Please message us any questions you may have prior to booking to see what site is best suitable to your camping needs. The diversity of the property showcases an amazing variety of vegitation, birdlife, and buterflies. Many walking trails allow for bird watchers and photographers to explore the wide diversity at Tide Water Park. I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation. The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved. Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time. Horse yards are available if you wish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk. Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others. Things to do here include, beach access (walks, drives), horse riding, bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide. What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. No hunting allowed, No ATV's, side by sides, drones, guns or chainsaws. Generator usage only in the afternoon and early evening. Additive activities available at site: - Bag of firewood - Farm fresh eggs - Crab pots - Seasonal animal experiences

The beach track sites are multiple singular, scenic sites with leveled grassed ground cover with great shelter on the edge of the coastal rainforest. These sites are located 30 meters from the high tide mark of 4 mile beach, which are perfect for beach activities, and bird watching. Guest's will enjoy on average 20x30 meter tent, camper, and RV site to themselves, please note that other groups or campers might be visible 100 meters further along the beach access track. Guest are advised to use 4WD vehicles to ensure easy movement on the track as it is sandy in places. All camping units must be self contained as no amenities are included in these sites. A shovel is NOT a suitable toilet option, as it damaged the sand dunes, and the bush turkeys digup your toilet paper to be visable for the next campers.

Hidden is a flat grassy area surrounded by coastal scrub and rainforest vegetation, 50 meters from the beach, and 1.5km from the creek, the site is perfect for bird watching, and access to the beach and creak. Hidden is a secluded site which guests will enjoy a 30x40 meter site to themselves with no visible groups nearby. 4WD access and self contained suitable guests only.

The group site is a large, flat, grassed area on the southern boarder of the property located 60 meters from a major communal beach access point, perfect for large groups and campers up to 18 guest and 4 vans. Guest will enjoy a very protected and private 40x20 meter area, surrounded by the rainforest. This site suits all size rigs including tents, RV, and vans and has easy access with limited sand on the track, however small amounts of sand is located in the camping area. All campers must be self-suitable with no amenities supplied.

Awesome! Very accomodating host and phenominal spot along the beach. We had the place to ourselves (thanks to TC Koji), and we spent our days exploring the beach with our dogs. Paul came to check on us throughout the stay (probably thought we were a little looney) and brought his own dogs around for a play as well. All in all a lovely stay

Paul and Clare were incredibly welcoming hosts. We had our own private beach for the night, and my wife couldn't stop raving about Clare's fresh eggs! Perfect spot if you want an off-grid beach adventure.

We had an amazing camping trip. Paul was so lovely and helpful, which really made the stay even better. We were lucky enough to see turtles, and Campsite 5 was unreal — pretty much right on the water. There was so much to do and see for kids of all ages, and we even got to feed the horse, which our kids absolutely loved. The fishing was great, and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Paul even came and had a beer with us to celebrate the New Year, which was such a nice, welcoming touch. Thank you Paul and Clare for letting us stay — easily one of our best camping trips. We’d 100% stay again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful secluded beach which is great to explore at low tide. Paul drove us down to the rock pools to see the resident turtles which was an incredible experience to be so close to them. He's a legendary host! Camping spot was great behind the sand dunes so you get great protection from the elements while still being on the beach. Such a special location. We will be back for sure!

Loved our stay at Tide Water Park. The drive in through mobs of cattle & pretty paddocks was very scenic. Nice camp-site in the bush with a walk way to the beach close by. Paul was great, visited us late afternoon & offered to take us on a turtle tour. In the ute we went & up the beach he took us with his dogs to the turtles swimming in the shallows. Such a shame we had crap weather, but we still enjoyed. We will be back if we're ever down this way again. Thanks Paul.

Easy access, absolutely beautiful location, plenty of things to do. Great access to creek and some good beach driving. Paul is a top bloke, very helpful and good for a yarn. We have already picked out our next site for when we return which will be very soon. Not over crowded, each site is isolated and the whole place perfectly quiet.

We stayed at tide water park for 5 days the camp site was great just of the beach ,go for a stroll along beach we sore a few turtles about,there is a creek for fishing and crabbing we did quite well on both. Paul and Clare are amazing people and couldn't do enough for us would highly recommend this place.

It pains me to recommend this place as I honestly don’t want to share it haha… such an absolute gem of a place. Our family can’t recommend this spot any more highly. One of the stand outs has to be the distance between sites. Even fully booked you wouldn’t feel in any way crowded in. The hosts are lovely and friendly. The beach is stunning and the turtles were a really special treat. The river is great for fishing and even better for crabbing , we got two massive bucks ! I would implore visitors to be respectful and sensible as I would hate for a few campers to ruin it for the rest of us. This area is a special slice of paradise and we are all lucky the owners are willing to share it with us all. Leave it as you found it or better. Thanks Claire, Paul , Jade , site inspector Rep and the other friendly doggos for making our visit so lovely .

Claire was lovely over the phone and Paul was so genuine and accommodating. He even showed us where we could drive on the beach! We caught three bream in just two hours. Such a tidy and beautiful place — peaceful and relaxing. Definitely our new favourite spot. It’s also a dogs heaven, plenty of place to run and play.

Fabulous! Very well organised, lovely welcome from our hosts. Great communication from the first. While there are no amenities the sites are open & well kept in nice locations. Was easy to set up & relax pretty quickly. There are a few sites but far apart enough to have tonnes of privacy/space. Will grudgingly recommend (only grudgingly because we’d prefer to keep this place to ourselves!)

Wonderful stay. Was supposed to be 1 night, but changed to 3 nights when we saw how lovely and relaxing it was. Paul & Clare were fantastic hosts and took us to see turtles and horses. Highly recommend

Tidewater Park camping trip.

Group Site
This was the second time staying at Tidewater Park and we loved it just as much as the first time. We loved waking up to the sound of the beach and the birds coming into camp first thing in the morning. The fishing was top notch unfortunately no crabs this trip. We got to see the turtles down in the rock pools with kids and even tried out driving on the beach, though that didn’t go to plan but Paul quickly came to our rescue and pulled us out. Lots of memories were made and our kids had the best time exploring the beach and seeing all of the wildlife. Would recommend Tidewater Park to everyone who enjoys camping off grid.

Fantastic stay, our site was a 5 second walk to the beach, fantastic views, our dog was allowed off leash for the whole stay, Clare is a great host looking forward to going back with the grandkids, good distance between sites so you didn’t hear your neighbours. Very relaxing.

Great place, quiet private camp sites, kids had fun exploring the rock pools and seeing the turtles and fishing in the creek. Paul and Clare are great people, happy to help with anything we needed including a tow when we got bogged. Highly recommended. Thanks

Stumbled across this most beautiful location. Thank you Paul & Clare for sharing your amazing place. The beach view is amazing with added bonus of seeing turtles. Very private sites, quiet and peaceful. Clare met us on arrival and back the next morning to check on us which such a great personalised touch. We loved it with a bonus visit from the cutest dog ! We will definitely be back!
