Lawrie was there to welcome me and show me to where I would be staying, which was nice and close to the amazing bathroom facilities. This is a conveniently located stunning spot to stop and rest on your trip. I wish we had more time to explore the property. I will definitely keep it in mind anytime I am travelling north again. Thank you for having us.

We had an amazing night at The Paddock Stay.
Lawrie welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the stay and invited us to choose our ‘site’ for the night.
The bathrooms were absolutely stunning. Clean and overall incredible amenities with hot showers!
The highway noise was noticeable but nothing to ever bother us. We had a great nights sleep!
Would 100% stay again!

Lawrie and Rhonda were extremely friendly and inviting, Lawrie meet us on arrival and allowed us to choose our site. The Paddock was very convenient on our travels south, even though close to the Bruce Highway it certainly had no impact on our night, waken fully rested. The facilities were first rate clean, tidy, well presented and equipped (a massive tick from my wife)

Perfect easy spot for a night or two to break up the long trip.
Super easy access and close to the highway. We didn't find the highway noise a problem at all.
Toilets were clean and well looked after.
Lawrie was super friendly and helpful.

Lovely property perfectly located to explore Maryborough. Lovely Private shower and toilet. Yes there is a lot of road noise, but if using as a base to explore this is perfect. Rhonda and Lawrie were very friendly.

Only stayed one night on route to final destination. The host’s Lawrie and Rhonda were welcoming and friendly. Had the beautiful showers to ourselves. Recommend to everyone.

Our stay was enjoyable with first class bathroom facilities. Host were very welcoming and friendly.
There was some traffic noise but it didn’t bother us
too much.

Stayed overnight. Campground is operated by a lovely couple. Nice and quiet, secluded and amazing bathrooms. No shortage of firewood.

Ideal for my 2 night stop for a business trip. Convenient location, outstanding amenities, I'm taking their private bathroom design to my wife for our reno.

After 2 weeks on the road this was our last night stay! Yes there is highway noise but we were not focused on that as there are birds singing and we just enjoyed the view! We were welcomed by Lawrie at the gate and taken for a walk around the property to select a suitable site. We selected a spot and set up for the night. We had a fire going and absolutely loved the ambience here. To us we felt welcomed as other sites we felt like a number. If we could have we would have spent more nights here. We had a private bathroom unlike any other site which was amazing. We met Rhonda too. Amazing,lovely hosts that make you feel comfortable in what is their home... the paddock. Close to highway easy access and tank water. I am excited for the future plans for this property. Thanks Rhonda and Lawrie. We hope to visit again one day. 🙂

The Paddock is easy to access, conveniently located right off the Bruce Highway. Amenities are excellent and Lawrie and Rhonda were lovely hosts. It is quite loud with traffic noise, day and night, but if you're exploring the region it would be a nice central location to be based from. Would recommend for travellers passing through but not ideal if you're after a more quiet camping spot.

We loved our 3 nights at The Paddock. Rhonda and Lawrie are great hosts and extremely welcoming. The toilet block was an added bonus. New, clean and tidy with beautiful warm showers, can’t beat that on a cold Maryborough winter morning 🚿 🙏🏻

Lovely place, well looked after grounds, brilliant amenities and easy/clear directions and fantastic hosts! Would definitely recommend to stay here either for a few nights or an over-nighter on the way along the Bruce Highway.

My wife and I loved our 1 night stay at The Paddock. We met the owners Rhonda and Lawrie who were friendly and lovely to chat to, they even gave us a quick tour and explained the history of their farm.
The toilet and shower amenities are very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again!!

Rhonda and Lawrie are very welcoming and lovely. The property is very well maintained and the bathrooms are a bliss! They have made a great job and can’t wait to see what they do in the future. It is near the highway, so quite noisy, but that is the only downfall. Would definitely recommend!

Marvellous! This little treasure beside the Bruce Highway was a traveller's delight. A great base for exploring Maryborough and Hervey Bay coast.
So easy to find and pristine clean, yet a rural retreat.

We truly enjoyed camping at The Paddock Stay! Very convenient location right off the Bruce Highway. The bathrooms were such a nice touch and the hot shower was a welcomed treat! Beautiful sunset view at the dam near the campsite! Massive paddock to take a stroll through! Thank you to Rhonda and Lawrie for being such lovely and friendly hosts!

The Paddock was the perfect spot to break up the drive north - a lovely secluded spot right off the highway, with excellent facilities, a wonderfully rustic (and well equipped) camp kitchen, and Rhonda and Lawrie were incredibly generous and welcoming hosts. I couldn't recommend The Paddock more!
