Sunny Coast Quiet Peaceful Retreat
Absolutely fantastic little spot for a nice secluded camp. The hosts were so lovely and thoughtful. Has everything you need, clean toilets and shower which were great even for a little larger group and was so nice being able to go for a swim and relax on the pontoon. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back a few times if the spot becomes open again!! Thank you guys for an amazing weekend ☺️

This was great for our first camping trip as a family of three. Quiet and private, level ground, everything working well, neat composting toilet. Glenn and Lorelle were welcoming & friendly, and helpful in picking up firewood for us while they were out. There are a few changes from the pics - now the firepit is a huge trough and there's a separate enclosed bbq with hotplate. We made good use of both. There's a large platform (5m x 4m maybe?) constructed between the toilet/shower and water/sink. The dam was very low when we visited, but once it refills there's an appealing floating platform with outdoor lounge on it (inaccessible for us). We're coming straight back for our next camping weekend!

Great to have a whole huge site to ourselves. Generous firewood for sale, hot shower, shady, rainforest bushy site. We loved the easy access to Kondalila falls, the coast and Ricks for burgers minutes away. As a group of 6 staying for 2 nights I would recommend byo toilet facilities if you can.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Glenn's property. We couldn't fault our time here. We had access to a toilet and shower, Glenn was able to provide us with extra firewood when we ran out, and we were left alone to be able to enjoy our time there. It is a peaceful property, and we enjoyed being the only ones there, no having to worry about being too noisy or taking up too much room. There was plenty of space to be able to set ourselves up next to the dam, everything was clean and tidy. The next time we need to stay in the area, we will be back and have recommended Glenn's property to our families too.

My experience at this camp-site was excellent. Glenn was extremely friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy having us there.
The facilities were good and the property is really well situated for day trips up the range and out to the coast.
I thoroughly enjoyed this spot and will hopefully be back in the future!

Glenn’s property is so beautiful, perfect for stays with large groups. We had hot water and reception the whole time, with heaps of space to set up camp or park cars. Glenn was the most accommodating host, very friendly and easygoing. Loved meeting the horses and the puppy too!

Friendly, responsive, and helpful, private & peaceful spot with animals nearby to keep me company, basic amenities made things more pleasant, even decent Vodafone reception!!!

Our second time at this wonderful retreat, and was awesome to see the work Glenn puts in especially the pontoon on the dam, that was great to sit in and enjoy family time over a few cold ones. First time we stayed with our camper trailer and this time took our 22foot caravan. No problem getting in, out or finding level ground. We will be back of course!

Just perfect. Glenn and his family were very welcoming, had great communication, and we met his cute (big) puppy. The location is perfect, so close to drive to Palmwoods and Montville for lunch/dinner and then a short half hour to the beach. Driving past the owner's property, down a beautiful gully, the camping spot was secluded but had everything you could need—lots of flat spaces for tent camping and plenty of shade throughout. We enjoyed the firepit, rubbish bin, sink for cleaning, a compostable toilet, and we even had hot showers, so unique in Winter. Our dog had so much space to run freely and even met the owner's Horses. Our stay was so quiet and peaceful. Such a beautiful property. Thank you so much!

Loved our short 2 night stay and will definitely be back. Secluded with plenty of space to spread out. Really well set out and we felt spoilt to have the fire pit, picnic table, sink and amenities to ourselves. Haven’t used a drop toilet with wood shavings since I was a kid camping! Amenities were very clean and well maintained. Lovely hosts who met us on arrival to make sure we had everything and then gave us total privacy

Our family had an excellent stay in our van at the site. Private, great location and a bit of luxury with hot shower and basic but effective toilet. Glenn is a warm and welcoming host. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

We loved our extra long weekend at Glenn’s property. Such a beautiful place to be for a weekend camping with family & friends. Bit of a tight road in but we had no trouble getting our 20ft van through, & once you get to the camp sites you won’t be disappointed. The dam was a bit low but too cold to swim anyway. There are 3 kayaks to use if choose as well. There is a drop toilet & awesome hot shower if you need it. The hosts Glenn & Narelle leave you to your own devices but are there if anything is needed. We didn’t want to leave so We will definitely be back 😊

Great host and this wonderful site included all the necessities, tidy toilet, hot water shower, picnic table, firewood and fire pit and even a dish washing sink. Would love to come back to visit again soon. The only thing was the dam water was very very low, so we didn't get to experience a swim, but it didn't spoil having a lovely experience.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so nice having the space to ourselves. The property is ideally located close to Maleny, Palmwoods and Montville and we enjoyed exploring the local area. If you’re chasing a peaceful camp spot with great amenities, book this property. Would definitely return!!

This was my first booking through Hipcamp and I wasn't sure what to expect. Glenn's camp delivered everything we could have wanted and more.
It's calm and peaceful. Completely private with the most beautiful views. Plenty of flat shaded spots to pitch a tent. The toilet and shower were clean amd tidy, with warm water - couldn't ask for more.
Glenn was friendly and available, but the camp site was very private, which was just what we wanted.
We were lazy on Saturday and got pizza from Palmwoods which is a short drive away. However, the fire and grill would be perfect for a BBQ.
Absolutely beautiful spot. We will definitely be back for more peaceful camping in the future.

This was perfect for us to get away and relax, perfect having it all to ourselves with an older dog who gets nervous around other dogs. The site is so well thought out, blissfully relaxing, we swam and kayaked, just enjoyed the serenity. A real escape yet not far from civilisation if we needed anything, and with the bonus of a camp kitchen and hot power shower. Lovely pontoon to chill out on and lovely owners. We will definitely be back.

loved camping here! we brought our camper van and felt extremely comfortable and safe in this private haven. only 20 mins from the beach, so many local shops in the area. and our hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and chill on every level. so glad we found this spot. don't even think twice about it. just stay here you won't have any regrets. warm shower and composting toilet were so good too!!
