Great spot, lots of options for places to camp from near a dam through to private spots in the bush. If you choose a spot near the road, not too much traffic, hardly notice it. Access is good. Safe for the dog. We had a right relaxing time and will be back.

What a wonderful place to stay! Delightful hosts, well thought out campsites well apart from each other and the best part of all for naturalists and bird watchers is access to the rainforest at the rear of the property. I stayed two nights and only explored a fraction of what was available. I hope to be back again.

We loved camping here over Easter. For the first night we were the only ones here.
The whole place is set up brilliant with tracks to each campsite, you take your pick, each with its own firepit. We camped by the new dam, took the kayaks for a spin, walked the tracks up the back and helped ourselves to the endless firewood (chainsaw required).
Every once other campers arrived, we never heard them. Our 4 legged companions were also welcomed. The friendliest hosts who couldn’t do enough to help you.
We will definitely come back again!

Darren and Sue are the perfect hosts. Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The sites are free to choose, large, very private, and with lots of space between them (we were spoilt for choice as we had the whole place to ourselves). Great place to get away.

Highly recommend! Well maintained sites for camping with plenty of space between each one. Heaps of space for the doggos to run around with a nice full dam for swimming! Great weekend getaway spot.
Easy to access, but also feels hidden away.

Some water in the dam but unfortunately the place was very dry.
At this time of year, it'd be fine for a cheap stopover if you're out that way. Darren was very friendly.

Great spot, nice large areas well maintained, it was dry when we were there but still great. This was our 2nd time here and would recommend it to anyone. Heaps of free firewood if you want to cut it and owners are very hospitable. Beautiful sunrises when I was able to get up 😂😂

Had a great time camping at Suda Park. Camped by the dam and no one else around. Great place to chill out and watch the birds coming for a drink, bath or to forage near the bank. The hosts are lovely, friendly people.

The hosts are lovely people and stopped in several time to check if everything was good, or if we needed any thing. We were even loaned a pot to catch Blueclaw yabbies which live in the dam. We camped next to this and the only complaint were the noisy frogs in the rain lol.
Suda park is well maintained. The grass is mowed and the track is mowed shorter so its obvious where to go. (If your car "does a burn" periodicaly you would understand the benefit of this.) A bonus for caravans is that you can park in the driveway and open the gate without fear of losing the rear end of your van sticking out on the road.
It is 800 acres and contains a four wheel drive track to explore. We used the camp site as a base to visit the nearby Bunya Mountains and Coomba Falls 2km from Maidenwell.

Fantastic open space, bring your pet, bring your chainsaw. Great base for a dirty weekend and 4wd tracks on the property. Enjoyed collecting an only a few fire logs to set the best fire which was still flaming at sunrise.

Nice, well maintained property with separate designated flat campsites containing fire pits. Back paddock has walking/ driving tracks through bushland. Great open skies for those wanting to do observing or night sky photography. Small dam.

A fantastic place to camp up for a few days! Great hosts, friendly and approachable... and HEAPS of space! Even some tracks to take the 4WD for a run around the campground! Will definitely be back!

Can highly recommend Suda Park. Campsites well spaced out with fire pits. We had a fantastic weekend relaxing and going for walks around the property. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and with clear skies at night fantastic for star gazing. We will be back.
