Suda Park Camping
Can highly recommend Suda Park. Campsites well spaced out with fire pits. We had a fantastic weekend relaxing and going for walks around the property. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and with clear skies at night fantastic for star gazing. We will be back.

Lots of great sites all private from each other, with fire pits. You can purchase bags of split wood or there are piles of timber from when the area was cleared. Site maps available, nature walks past the camping area. The road noise can be loud if camped along the front. The Hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and easy to contact. We look forward to returning.

Suda camp was a nice and spacious. Camp sites are separate so neighbours are not on top of you, have great fire rings and beautiful Queensland country views. The hosts are just lovely.

Great quiet camp
I booked this venue for my birthday camp on recommendation of a friend who had recently been. It was great! Small clean dam that was not deep for the kids to kayak in, lovely quiet setting and 4wd tracks. The owners came by to say hi and have a chat and were lovely. There were other camps further away from the dam with lovely views of the surrounding bushland and paddocks. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

We enjoyed our time at Suda Camp. Hosts were great, open and very happy for us to explore the property. It was good to get a spot that was ‘held’, some spots quite exposed/in paddock. Heaps of space, enjoyed our day trips and a great base for the area.

Great space
Was a great open site and my kids loved the dam. Even though it was busy being easter weekend the sites were spaced out really well.

Suda Park Camping
Suda Park offers clean, open grassland which made setting up our tent a breeze. The location we camped in had a lovely view and a waterhole which the children spent hours in. We had a fun drive around the property in our 4x4 during our stay. The nearby towns have plenty of supplies and cafes/ restaurants. The mine adjacent to the bordering National Park did have machinery operating 24/7 which created some low level noise. The road in front of the property had a moderate amount of traffic during the day, minimal to none at night.

Good spacing between the camping areas. Extremely clean and well maintained with each slashed camping area with a central fire pit. Not far from town (Yarraman or Maidenwell) and easy to get to. Our small group enjoyed Suda Park including our dog. We will be back.

Find your happy place!
I loved the way this place is set out, extra large sites so the whole extended family can camp with you on the one site! Sites are also far apart , so you won’t hear your neighbour pass wind in the morning. So peaceful and quiet. Love it, I didn’t want to leave! Definitely recommend this place.

Camping easter long weekend youd think it would have been packed. Very far from it and it was amazing. Stayed in the lower section near the dam and from our camp there were probably 20 or so other camps in sight, the closest one being maybe 200mts away. A group of 7 of us had an amazing 2 nights under the stars. No amenities available so must be fully contained, however there are flush loos about 10mins back in Maidenwell. What would top it was if they provided portaloos as not every family can validate taking the short drive back or house a loo in a car. Otherwise was a great time and will be back.

Big open areas, plenty of space for kids and animals too. Not too close to other campers which was also really good. Loved the fire pits already located at your camp site too. Very friendly people. Would drive out there again.

Secluded spot, lovely views
Lovely secluded spot. Hosts were friendly and camp is easy enough to find (although be on the lookout for the mailbox which has the number as Google maps isn't accurate). Plenty of space between sites and sites are a large size. We stayed here while heading to Bunya Mountains and would stay again if out that way. Dam is a nice addition for the kids and plenty of space for them to roam around exploring. Lovely views too.
