About our property. *** Our farm is a quite zone, but great for children to enjoy themselves *** *** We allow dogs, but they must restrain from barking and kept on leads *** 167 pristine acres of ex dairy farm, with flat paddocks running along side 1 km of kbeautiful creek frontage and manicured rolling hills in the back ground that back onto Gympie National park. It is a very quiet location with 5 dams and 2 that you can swim and Kayak in, the creek is also great to swim and kayak in , free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of bird life to enjoy . We are only 15min North East of Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast, Noosa. We have 7 different locations. ***Powered *** and non powered. 1 hill top location with 4 powered and 5 non powered sites. 4 non powered locations beside the creek with many camp sites to choose from. 2 non powered off road private locations, 4WD access only. ** No toilets or showers and can only be accessed in dry conditions, please contact us before booking these sites. Facilities. We have 3 toilets and a shower with warm water , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure. Things to do nearby. There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine or beer or two. Pop in for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and have your own spot along the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Pets. Non barking dog are allowed, BUT must be kept on leash at all times and kept by your side when strolling around, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating.

It is a very quiet location with 5 dams and two that you can swim in, there are free roaming cattle that you can camp along side, with lots of bird life to watch and enjoy. We are only 15min North East of Gympie Central, 40min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach and 60min to the Sunshine Coast, Noosa. Camp sites. We have 6 different locations to camp at. 3 along side the creek that have many camp sites to choose from. 2 off road private site, 4WD access only. ** No toilets or showers nearby** 1 close to amenities Facilities. We have a very clean toilet and shower with hot water , our water is fresh & clean. **but not suitable for drinking** We advise to bring your own drinking water. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 per bag of fire wood and fire starter, every other day onwards if needed. All guests must take their waste with them on departure. Things to do nearby. We loved our camp at sandy creek! Warren met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the camp grounds and advised the best place to set up, due to being very hot. We had the whole place to ourselves and the lake for a dip was incredible. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, would definitely like to return.

Absolutely stunning location, clean facilities and great host. Don’t skip over this site, it is grassy, manicured to perfection, has shade, a dam that you can swim in with a pontoon and warm shower. Warren has nailed setting this site up for people who want a safe and nice location to stay.

Warren’s camping spot was peaceful & relaxing, he made us all feel welcomed . Very spacious area with plenty of bird life . We had the whole place to ourselves which made it extra special. Warren is a great host , friendly & responds to messages very quickly.

We had a great weekend at Sandycreek Homestead. The property is in a good location, tranquil, and very picturesque. We most enjoyed swimming and kayaking on the dam! It was a very relaxing few days, and can't wait to return. Thanks to the host for being so accommodating and friendly.

We stayed in our camper trailer at Clamp Site. It was beautiful. The views, the open spaces, the quiet. Very well maintained. The grass was so green even though there was no water in the creek. The dam was amazing and kids were kayaking on the dam. I highly recommend Sandy Creek Homestead to anyone looking to get away from a busy life for a while.

Set up my camper at Sandy Creek, and was a fantastic experience. Manicured grounds, clean toilets and warm showers. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. Thanks to Warren and family, look forward to camping there again soon.

Sandycreek was great. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, always visible and working away, moving portaloo's around so they were well placed for the campers. The site was very quiet and peaceful with swans visiting the creek and the beautiful dam had kayaks on hand for the kids and was great for a swim :). Will certainly be going back again soon!

We had a wonderful camping experience on this beautiful Beaufort property. Warren, the owner, greeted us at the gate with a warm welcome and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We set up camp beside a peaceful creek and were lucky enough to see black swans gracefully swimming by – a real highlight! The setting was serene and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful spot to camp.

Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet weekend away. We will definitely recommend to our friends. Close to town- we even zipped out to the local pub for an awesome lunch. Tidy, peaceful and private spots all along the creek. Toilet and shower available, short walk from where we camped. Beautiful views. Multiple dams, lovely creek and wimming spots. Wildlife glaore- various birds, frogs, wallabies and we even saw a platypus. Friendly swans. Thanks again, we will be back.

Such a hidden gem! We originally planned to stay just one night but ended up extending because it was so lovely. If we didn’t have other commitments, we would have happily stayed longer. The place is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful scenery all around. We really enjoyed strolling through the paddocks and along the creek, watching the cows, spotting wildlife, and relaxing in the grass. It was so calm and refreshing. We also had a great chat with the owner, Warren, who was very friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back again—thank you, Warren!

Highly recommend. Leanne met us at the gate and showed us around in the buggy. Which our son loved. It’s a beautiful property. We chose to stay in the far right paddock, had beautiful sunset over the hill with the cows. We tried looking for platypus in the creek, no luck. Next time. We opted for firepit & wood and boy did they deliver. Was such a great stay & a great spot

Being a first-time camper, I was a bit skeptical about camping in general, Warren and the team made our stay very welcoming which also had good amenities on site. There was plenty of space to get our camping gear out and good privacy on our stay. The noise was very minimal which is why we chose the location. The property was very well maintained which made my first camping experiencing great. We would stay here again!

Lots of great sites, plenty of toilets and warm shower. The host is super friendly and gave us some great recommendations of things to do in the area. Also good proximity to rainbow beach / noosa / eumundi for day trips.

Sandy Creek homestead is a hidden gem! If you are after a wonderful escape from the world a stone's throw away from town this is the perfect spot. Warren was prompt and clear with his communication and directions plus the super cute farm buggy campfire delivery (even including firefighters and matches) was fantastic. Wonderful clean amenities and well spaced sites along the deep swimmable creek. I even spotted a cheeky platypus and some beautiful finches. My initial booking was for one night but the property is located perfectly for access to Rainbow beach, Kin Kin, and the Mary valley I extended my stay for an extra ten days. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful place.

I love the camping here at Sandycreek Homestead. The hosts Warren and Frank are very friendly and welcoming. The creek is just beautiful, the grounds are beautiful. The whole place is just lovely. The shower is hot. The toilets are clean and tidy. It’s a very comfortable place to camp. Fur babies are welcome and have plenty of room to play in. There’s lovely walking areas, lovely swimming area or just areas that you can relax and chill out in. There’s something for everyone. Our group had an amazing weeekend. We can’t wait to do it all again. Thanks Sandycreek Homestead. Highly recommend 😊😊

Sandycreek Homestead is one of the most relaxing and well-kept camping spots I’ve stayed at. The property is spacious, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful bushland, creeks, and open paddocks. You really feel like you have your own slice of nature all to yourself. Warren, the host, was incredibly welcoming—he let me choose my preferred site and showed me how to set up a campfire. The facilities are clean and super handy—there’s a proper toilet and a warm shower, which made the stay feel extra comfortable without losing that true camping vibe. The spot is also pet-friendly, which is perfect if you’re traveling with a dog. There’s also a very cute dog that runs around with Warren! It’s peaceful, great for stargazing at night, and there’s heaps of space between sites so you never feel crowded. Would absolutely come back again.

Love Sandy Creek Homestead! Warren and the team do a great job! Lovely flat extra large grassy sites, with easy acess. Beautiful dams, great fire to sit around and this is the perfect place for stargazing! Very clean amenities with toilets and shower. Great place for a group camp separate from other campers. Also nice and safe for solo campers. See you again soon!
