Sandycreek Homestead is one of the most relaxing and well-kept camping spots I’ve stayed at. The property is spacious, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful bushland, creeks, and open paddocks. You really feel like you have your own slice of nature all to yourself.
Warren, the host, was incredibly welcoming—he let me choose my preferred site and showed me how to set up a campfire.
The facilities are clean and super handy—there’s a proper toilet and a warm shower, which made the stay feel extra comfortable without losing that true camping vibe. The spot is also pet-friendly, which is perfect if you’re traveling with a dog. There’s also a very cute dog that runs around with Warren!
It’s peaceful, great for stargazing at night, and there’s heaps of space between sites so you never feel crowded. Would absolutely come back again.
