Amazing Views no Privacy/amenities

We had mixed feelings about our stay here. On the positive side, the price was very reasonable and the views were absolutely spectacular — easily the highlight of the experience.
However, the campground itself is very exposed. There’s no shade, no real amenities, and very limited privacy. The surrounding farms look directly onto the paddock, and while we were there, workers were active in a nearby shed. We also noticed people walking around their properties overlooking the campsite, which made it feel like we were being watched.
Because of this, it didn’t feel particularly relaxing or welcoming, despite the beautiful scenery. This place might suit those who are just stopping briefly for the views, but if you’re looking for privacy, comfort, or a more secluded camping experience, this may not be the best fit.

I loved how close this hipcamp was to the many, many beautiful hiking trails in the Glass House Mountains. The view is to die for and plenty of space for privacy.

It’s a beautiful green lush property with that magnificent mountain view. We stayed up on the grassy site and managed to level the van. We’ll be back.

Had a wonderful stay here. The site was private and we had uninterrupted views of the mountain. Site was well kept and situated on a lovely property. Accessible easily with our 2WD capervan. Great wildlife and so many interesting birds to see. Great value and would definitely recommend

Absolutely stunning location, wide open field suitable for any type of camping. I was with my swag enjoying the view of the mountain by the fire.

Sensational views of Mount Coonowrin (Crockneck). There are two campsites to choose from, one on the level gravel pad by the shed. The other is on lush mown grass, but is rather sloping. Both have a fire pit and are suitable for solar charging. Easy access from the road. Although not total isolation, the residences above the campsites are a good distance away. Perfect position to explore the beautiful surrounding area.

We love it here - so easy and peaceful. The slab is level and the fireplace ready to go. I 30 mins we were set up, fire roaring and eating dinner!

Amazing spot! Very clean and tidy property with views either way of the glass house mountains. Beautiful veggie gardens and surrounding scenery. Pam was lively and came and gave a quick hello. Definitely will be back again.

Access was very easy. We could have used the level gravel area but decided to take the campervan up onto the grassed area, closer to the mountain, large fire pit. Our 2 dogs had a good area to have a quick run. It is dog on leash so we had a barrier around our camper but because they were good we did let them out for a sniff etc. Peaceful, even though fairly close to a road. Our first time out with the camper so used as a tester and loved it. Many thanks for a great stay

The views were spectacular. Easy access from the front gate to the level gravel pad next to the shed or on the grass. We parked the van on the grass next to the large fire pit and stayed for 2 nights. The grass is neatly mown. Would highly recommend this camp. We watched the bush tv and loved the starry night sky. The farm shop was open on Friday morning as we left and we bought some of Pim’s organic strawberries.

Quiet out of the way spot. We parked our 19 ft caravan easily on the leveled site. Our dog loved running around on the neatly mown grass areas. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for so many reasons! We stayed a week and will definitely stay again next time we're in the region.
- Great for a big rig like ours - easy access
- hosts we're very friendly and welcoming
- was handy when we had to go into Brisbane for appointments
- good level, all weather gravel pad
- dog friendly
- fire pit provided
- no power but having water was great. Hosts advised us that they're hoping to be able to offer power in the future
- we were lucky to be able to buy local fresh strawberries and produce
5 stars 😉

Stunning view and a lovely quiet spot for camp. We camped on the grass, was a bit tricky to level the caravan but we managed get it level.
If not, there is a level gravel spot near the shed.
The grass was freshly mowed, very nice and green
