Really great camp! Owners are lovely and very accommodating. Nice area, Lots of space, toilet, sink and warm shower. There was fire pits all over filled with wood to use. Overall good stay and great price!

Beautiful place. Peaceful, quiet and well set up. Had a warm welcome from Kristy and Tim, that made me feel like if I needed anything it would not have been a hassle for them.

Host was the perfect level of helpful and respectful
Also very understanding regarding last minute plan changes.
Overall had a lovely stay with good facilities, sink, dish washing station, functioning amenities and the lovely firepit area which actually came in handy as I had misplaced my grill plate for my firepit but still wanted to cook with the fire and there was already set up hot plates which were able to be used to prepare the food. However even if I were not skilled in fireplace cooking there was also a gas barbecue and seating area.
Unfortunately my only strife was the lighting of the campfire area as the switch it tried to use didn’t seem to work but I brought my own lights anyway as I like to come well equipped.
Hope we wasn’t too disruptive for the other campers nearby as we had a lot to chat about as a group 😂

The camp was lovely and peaceful, the directions were clear and the facilities were good. Kristy was very nice and friendly too! They said that haven't ran the property for long and are in the process of doing it up. It's already a lovely play to stay, so I'm sure it'll only get better in the future!
Great sites, awesome facilities and we can see how much work was put into the land around !
Kristy and her partner even gave us some wood for the fire !

Fabulous, super neat & tidy camp ground with a HOT shower-absolute bonus for bush camping. Kristy & Tim were very hospitable/welcoming. I would definitely return when back in this area.

I loved to stay at Merako Heaven! Kristy is a very friendly and kind host. The camping offers everything you need and it is very quiet. I definitely recommend this place if you want to take a few days to have peace!

A great place to camp! It felt very private and the toilet, shower and kitchen are well maintained. I camped in the Campfire circle area and it was perfect for sleeping in my vehicle. The birds and butterflies were lovely. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. I will come back.
What a great spot, Kristy and Tim are doing a wonderful job. The camp was so peaceful and clean. Great toilet and shower and the fur circle is well thought out with quirky little touches.

A truly amazing campsite. We loved spending three nights here. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. There’s a big fireplace next to the camp kitchen, which is well equipped. (Thanks for the firewood.) There’s a nice hot shower.
All you can hear are the birds, the wind and the rustling of the trees.
We’d come back any time.

Great weekend, lovely hosts, perfect location. Highly recommend. After very stressful few months as a family we need some R & R together. We got that and some much needed time together. Thank you Kristy and Tim we will be back

We enjoyed the a lovely over night stop and the firewood was a nice bonus.
What a beautiful property, would definitely recommend it, Kristy and family were amazing, they were so helpful to make sure our stay was more then great. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity.
Beautiful camp site, such a stunning and clean area. Has a working shower and toilet with a beautiful gathering area with cutlery, working cooker and utensils, also has a beautiful gathering area around a fire pit as a social area 🥰 couldn’t recommend this more! Best camping experience of my life.

Ripper spot! Great camp kitchen with a BBQ, cooktop, and everything else you could want, plus a toilet and hot shower. Lovely communal campfire, too. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They are in the process of upgrading the campsite and I imagine it will be wonderful when it’s finished. An absolute bargain at $8 a night!
Wonderful space and hosts. Look forward to returning to spend more time there.

Was a beautiful stay! Lovely hosts. Awesome amenities and we loved the fire pit with the lights set up.
What a great little place to park up and relax, or even visit the surrounding areas in the Whitsundays. The hosts were lovely and provided good directions. We were able to fill our water tanks on arrival, which was a bonus. 2 sections atm for vans & smaller set ups, with the ability to choose a site, but would also suit large groups, eg: fishing or just travelling through etc. The host also said they've got lots more improvements & sites on the horizon. Loved being woken up by beautiful birds chirping, as it backs onto bushland. Would definitely recommend and we will return next year to see the progress.
