Great spot!! Even better host!! Prefect long weekend get away. Yes the banks of the river are steep but not impossible to get up and down and the fishing was awesome. Few campers but it’s well big enough not to hear any noise

Fantastic spot. Secluded but with a portaloo. The owners were friendly and came to show us how to get to the river. The cows were a bonus, especially all the little calves.

We were a family of 4 and 2 dogs.
We had a good time overall.
The negatives were that the road to the farm was very gravelled and narrow. The shower and toilet were very primitive and had no drinking water.
Otherwise, we got a huge site to ourselves and our dogs really enjoyed roaming free.
We had a camp fire which was an amazing experience. We explored the farm and walked down the river.

Great sites along the river and on the lake, beautiful scenery, cows and friendly people, we would highly recommend! Clear skies and camp fires at night are stunning!

The camp was very nice, clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was very quiet and relaxing with a great view of the river. Warren was very welcoming and helpful, the direction he gave to find the property were very good to made it easy to find. We will be going back, we would highly recommend this camp.

Great sites, really peaceful and the riverside setting is lovely. There was only one other caravan and they were ages away so our dogs were relaxed and so were we.
Warren is a kind, generous soul and clearly passionate about sharing his picturesque space.
We particularly loved the mature gum trees, the wire fire pits, which allowed you to really see the flames, the beautiful lake with abundant lilies and lotus plants. There were many paths through the bush down to the river and wooden benches regularly placed to enjoy the view. Definitely recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Mary River Hip Camp! Warren and his wife were amazing hosts — so welcoming and helpful, their hospitality really made the experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, with lush farmland, horses, cows, and the stunning Mary River running right through it.
Warren’s man-made beach was a brilliant touch. The free kayaks were a huge bonus.
Couldn’t recommend this place more. A peaceful, fun getaway made even better by the awesome hosts. We’ll definitely be back!

Incredible place, amazing farm - a real immersive experience!
Toilets and showers are available, perhaps not the most luxurious but could not have asked for anything more from this magical place.
Water was not available as stated in the description, but would definitely go out of my way to pet brownie the cow, fish in the nearby river and enjoy beautiful sunsets!

Chilled atmosphere great place to get away. Lots of fish to catch. Hosts were very accommodating. Would recommend if you want to just chill out and relax.

Had a great time swimming and kayaking in the dam. Host was lovely. Dog had an amazing time running around and playing with host’s dogs. Had entire area to ourselves, couldn’t see the other campers over the hill

We spent Xmas break at Warren’s property, what a lovely spot ,plenty of space for van and furbaby. Coming from the city we thoroughly enjoyed peace and quiet it was heavenly…Host was friendly and helpful.

I liked the spot so stayed another night. Hoped to spy a Platypus in the early morning hours but spied two giant water dragons instead.

A very special place. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. The wildlife unique especially the birds. Even saw a white bellied sea eagle each morning. The giant water dragons (lizards) were a surprise.
Oh yes, the steers are curious and gentle.
Top value for getting intimate with nature.

Had a really great weekend, lovely spot and hosts were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.
Our group also stayed in the air bnb, very clean and tidy and great bbq area, highly recommend both camping and accomodation.

It’s a nice secluded spot and we had a a good few days but if it’s a bit wet I would suggest only off road caravans and 4wd vehicles.
The host was great and had plenty of firewood for us.

Overall we has a great time, however was a lot further from the water then expected. A bit of a hike down the slopes and bushes to get to the water and with the kayaks.
