Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

10-acre horse property where you can park your rig and enjoy the sounds of birds, horses, and the breeze through the trees. Eddie the racehorse and Bernie the Clydesdale will greet you at mealtimes and always love a friendly pat or a carrot 🥕 (or five!). Barry the bush turkey, our two families of ducks, and the local rabbits may also grace you with their presence if you keep an eye out for them. Sitting atop the ridge, you can take in views of the eastern valley or relax in the western bushland. The perfect spot for a quick escape, a stopover, or a longer stay. Just 15 minutes from the Bruce Highway and 5 minutes from Montville village. Take a walk through the fruit grove and pick a fresh orange or mandarin straight from the tree. Feeling adventurous? Try a pomelo. Want to bring your horses? We have spare paddocks—send us a message and we can organise accommodation for them right in front of yours. Bags of firewood are available on-site for purchase. Fires must be contained in a suitable fire pit. Easy-access driveway, no 4WD required. You must be self-sufficient. There is no access to water, power, or toilet/shower facilities. Strictly no tent pegs allowed—our horses’ hooves don’t do well stepping on pegs accidentally left in the ground.

West facing to the Koala habitat, sandstone dirt and grass area. Guests may be required to move at short notice if positioned blocking access to the shed. Plenty of room without blocking access. We do allow swags and tents that do not require pegs. Strictly no tent pegs in the ground.
